Well, this is great news and all.
But what we really need to get all the details of are Snah's opinions of Italian cooking!
@ krist: you are forgiven
Actually, I'm just like that. So here's a big THANK YOU to all contributors!
Is he guitar tech for them too, or in some other capacity?
I remember seeing Sunn O))) in Den Haag in 2007, at some festival.
MP were on the bill before them, and I remember turning around at some point and seeing the band behind me enjoying the Sunn O))) show a lot!
@hawklord: I sent you an e-mail about a week ago for further information about the album but did not get a response
The above image is exactly what came with my Demon Box VOW CD. Is there supposed to be any different artwork?
Confirmed here: http://musicnorway.no/2014/09/18/premiere-industry-insider-rune-grammofons-rune-kristoffersen/
Vinyl re-issue of Demon Box this fall on Rune Grammofon.
The same sentence in also mentions a 5CD box, without obvious reference of that's about. How awesome would that be if it were Demon Box as well????? Even if we don't know yet, still fun to speculate on possible content:
Disc 1: Demon Box CD version
Disc 2: Into the Ugly Mountain (the EPs and singles)
Disc 3: The Ones that Got Away (outtakes)
Disc 4: All is Liveliness (Live at Roskilde) – horrible pun; waiting for better suggestions to come!
Disc 5: ??? More outtakes? An alternative DB like we got for TM? The other albums from the VOW years?
I m sure they'll give them away for free just to annoy you, Jaxxxn.
Also, it's not good manners to make a discussion point out of someone's finances.
Quote:I wouldn't mind but I don't like what the idea implies: it kind of says if the band doesn't do this, they'd be unfair, making a bad move. It's one song they offered for a special cause. Most people won't have it. Me neither. So what? And what if the Sorgenfri/Toys combo was released any other time without any mentioning of being somewhat of a "9th fragment"? There probably wouldn't be such a debate. Here's to the power of words.
A significant amount f collectors are 'completest' and I can imagine not having a release is experienced as a 'miss' and perhaps even a 'loss' for their collections.
I gotta admit I'd like it much better if I had 'Toys' in my collection as well!
That said, Bent already spoke out about this issue, so I'm sure we'll see something good coming from the band at some time in the future, and without the implication of anything being unfair, or even bad, to anyone.
The inner gatefold of one of the singles has 8 symbols in a vertical line. The top 4 of these symbols are on each of the 4 labels. So, I presume that defines the track order.
Someone posted a key to the script some posts up.
As for the songs, I only played the first disc so far, and I'm liking what I'm hearing a lot! I like them better already than either Eggplant (didn't like this at all) or Sun.
Quote:Did anyone of you who actually bought a copy received any news or some update on the shipping?Nope. But i would've thought it will take a while before they send the 1st installment as these weren't even made by the registration deadline.

There is some true Motorfloyd magic in that transition that's just unparralled elsewhere.
I've been lucky enough to experience it Live twice. I'll use this space to make a case for the next Roadwork: Rotterdam autumn 2008!
The setlist:
1. Un Chien
2. Year Zero »
3. Glow »
4. Hogwash
5. Taifun
6. Sunship
7. Step Inside
8. Vanishing Point
9. Greener »
10. Flick of the Wrist
11. LLM
12. Loneliness
This gig had Bent, Snah and Kenneth interlocking as I've never seen before. Or since. Right from the intro to of Un Chien to the acapella, whispered (!) outro of Loneliness one beautiful flowing jam after the other. Every song in this set performed to perfection. It was truly one of those nights where everything is just right!
Here's a teaser. How I wish to relive the full magic of this show again!
