I understand well. I guess they just wanted to play free without expectations or boundaries after the Unicorn. And so they do what they do best: Jams, Melodies, Athmosphere… We will see.

saying something like: very hallucinogenic album, with 2 guitarists and psychedelic organ-parts. longer songs kind of prog- and spacerock with jazzy drumfills and basslines. very dynamic. short songs kind of folk, or grooverock with heavy guitars. "ratcatcher" 17min long, "hell" 10 min.
you can find the recording of osnabrück on dimeadozen. the song was great. surprised us all and is really fucking great buildup and melody.
yeah, that is true. but the concert in kulturmolla – sandnes is definately "our" motorpsycho here. and they played "afterglow" there.
to me it was a surprise to find a song called "afterglow" in a motorpsycho setlist from 1997. so it seems like they finished on "still life with eggplant" some old ideas that they did not have finalized yet. and that from different periods: afterglow – 1997, ratcatcher – 2001, leslies vest – it was an old idea from the very beginning, the other songs – ???

it will be very hard to find accomodation in Munich and Dresden. In both towns hostels have the minimum of 3 night stay policy, because of the "Himmelfahrt" weekend. I had to book a "cheap" Hotel instead in Munich. In Dresden I run a small hostel with 8 rooms and have the same policy. I have to do it, and all other Hostels do the same. Same option would be cheap hotels, but please feel free to contact me by mail, I am sure somehow it will be propably possible to arrange something private here for fellow psychonauts

In Hamburg are some pretty hostels not far from the club, which you can find easily under http://www.backpacker-network.de/
the album title reminds me a lot of: "Still Life with Woodpecker" by Tom Robbins (one of my favourite authors btw.) maybe there is some connection? seems not impossible to me
