Same here, in my 12 years of seeing MP live (approx. 20 shows), I’ve never seen or heard the mighty Gullible live. Especially since Heavy Metal Fruit was my introduction to MP and still my most important/favourite MP record. Only saw Starhammer a couple of times and The Bomb-Proof Roll twice, not bad already.

WBAT would be awesome as well (that stöööner rifffff with Bent’s screeeching after the intro jam… ).

      Hoping for Sint-Niklaas and/or Leuven!

Did anyone get their Shock Me 7″ already? Seems to take a while, even for singles shipped from The Netherlands to Belgium apparently…

As we say in Dutch/Flemish, ik houd mijn hart vast, there’s so much trouble with PostNL these days, obviously due to the ‘festive’ season, can’t blame the drivers, but I’m reading that “orders outside Norway are sent as letter WITHOUT tracking or insurance”. I thought these things would at least be included in the 28 euros I paid for a 7″ disc + shipping.

Haha, I feel your pain. Just being able to play it in your car or wherever you can’t bring a record player (anywhere but home), would be nice indeed.

It’s a 2020 release, but I was confused as well when I got the e-mail notification. Or is there another new disc colour, apart from the existing orange, green, red and white ones?

@punj It’s just a 72-minute, 21 euro (both ways!) costing direct train ride from Leuven to Sint-Niklaas you know… :mp:

Yeah I was happy yesterday afternoon to see a big Bent/Snah picture at the top of the venue’s newsletter in my mailbox :mp:

Wasn’t even aware that the Leuven show had been announced as well. Sint-Niklaas is closer for me (living in Ghent) but Leuven has the (way) better venue of the two… first world problems…

                      Well, fuck.

No seriously, happy to read it was a great moment in time and space. I’m more into the space prog epic MP, but was quite curious about this approach and set as well (especially in this setting). Love these concise shorter songs, which -live- weren’t so concise or short apparently.

I managed to relativize my absence, seen ’em so many times since 2013 and from Tromso to Milan, and will probably see them again in 2025 and all the following years, right? :)

If they can play the Valkenburg OLT, they must at some point play in the Antwerp Rivierenhof OLT. A magical setting as well (look it up!), with a great annual Summer line-up (over 2,5 months) consisting of (among many others) Emma Ruth Rundle, Tinariwen, Mdou Moctar, Explosions In The Sky, Peter Hook & The Light, Marcus Miller,…

MP would definitely fit in, as a doube bill or so, like yesterday…

I broke my jaw in a traffic accident last weekend and had 2 tickets to this show. My head will be immobile for a month and I’m in quite some pain so I can’t go. The QR code on the tickets are made available by the organisation 24h before the show so I’ll send the pdf by then to anyone who wants them. I paid 65 euro for both. To anyone interested for more or less that price…

Cool! There’s a “singles” tab when you scroll a bit here: https://rateyourmusic.com/artist/motorpsycho

Curious if they’ll actually do that. Can’t imagine they’d play stuff like Ulv Ulv, X-Mastime is here or 3 Songs For Rut, haha!

Book a hostel, Airbnb, hotel room,… and go back the next (early) morning? Might be a short night then though ;-)

Of course I don’t know your personal situation, so no judgment, just thinking along. It’s what I did a few weeks ago for a gig in Cologne (travelling from Ghent).

                                  Hope you find a solution!
