A bit weird to see so much time passing by between the occasional announcements… March is Norway only, then a one-off in Holland, 2 Norway shows in Summer and then some dates in Deutschland in September. Maybe we’ll know more after the announcement of their new orchestral one-song triple-disc dance-prog-fusion extravaganza later this week…
MY GOD YASSS! Give it to me
A live date was added for 2026: https://motorpsycho.no/gigs/motorpsycho-northern-winter-beat-2026/
5 Feb, Aalborg.
Apparently a replacement date for Snah’s broken leg a few months ago.
Do we already need a “2026 LIVE” page? :D

Leuven started at 8.30 (doors at 8.00), til 23.15.
Sint-Niklaas only started at 9.00 (doors also at 8.00), til 23.45.I’m shocked to read that they played Gullible’s Travails the show before Leuven and the one after Sint-Niklaas, the two I attended. Once again, after my 20+ MP show attendances since 2013, STILL NO GULLIBLE FOR ME *lies down and cries (a lot)*
Reine experienced technical difficulties during Captain and Lucifer, setup was almost partly rebuilt or so? And Bent’s strings from the guitar part of his doubleneck broke twice (same string?) during Neotzar.
Funny seeing Reine being superpissed (it seemed so anyway) when Snah just kept and kept and kept on soloing during August, haha. Cut it, cut it!!! (*thumb crossing his neck*)
Funny (and friggin’ SOLID) also to see Snah come on and off stage with a crutch, but then performing his supercalifragilisticexpialidocious magic standing up for 3 hours straight.
Bent at some point: “Last time we played here was our loudest show ever… it was horrible”. I was there, October 2017, was it really that loud? I remember the sound wasn’t particularly good then though. Sounded way better yesterday.
Very nice show. But how the hell is Bent able to keep that winter jacket on all the time in this sauna with the hot stage lights and general energy

Same here, in my 12 years of seeing MP live (approx. 20 shows), I’ve never seen or heard the mighty Gullible live. Especially since Heavy Metal Fruit was my introduction to MP and still my most important/favourite MP record. Only saw Starhammer a couple of times and The Bomb-Proof Roll twice, not bad already.
WBAT would be awesome as well (that stöööner rifffff with Bent’s screeeching after the intro jam…
). Hoping for Sint-Niklaas and/or Leuven!

Hmmm not reassuring… but thanks for your feedback guys!
Did anyone get their Shock Me 7″ already? Seems to take a while, even for singles shipped from The Netherlands to Belgium apparently…
As we say in Dutch/Flemish, ik houd mijn hart vast, there’s so much trouble with PostNL these days, obviously due to the ‘festive’ season, can’t blame the drivers, but I’m reading that “orders outside Norway are sent as letter WITHOUT tracking or insurance”. I thought these things would at least be included in the 28 euros I paid for a 7″ disc + shipping.

Haha, I feel your pain. Just being able to play it in your car or wherever you can’t bring a record player (anywhere but home), would be nice indeed.
It’s a 2020 release, but I was confused as well when I got the e-mail notification. Or is there another new disc colour, apart from the existing orange, green, red and white ones?
@punj It’s just a 72-minute, 21 euro (both ways!) costing direct train ride from Leuven to Sint-Niklaas you know…
Yeah I was happy yesterday afternoon to see a big Bent/Snah picture at the top of the venue’s newsletter in my mailbox
Wasn’t even aware that the Leuven show had been announced as well. Sint-Niklaas is closer for me (living in Ghent) but Leuven has the (way) better venue of the two… first world problems…
