kuni: Ahh, good to see there are a lot of people behind this, may help the finances! A while ago there was someone trying to sell a vinyl of BH/BC for something like €100. Was that you? Just wondering, no sinister overtones! Have fun at Herzberg, wasn't that where they did the first concert with Kenneth?
grtz, Thomas
It's on €311 now.
I was thinking that we could not let this happen and should somehow contribute something to kuni so the collection wouldn't have to be sold at a ridiculously low price.
Now €311 is definitely still too low in my highly opinionated psychonautic opinion, but I have the feeling we wouldn't raise much more between us anyway.
To whomever is lucky enough to buy this collection: hang on to it and play it, a LOT!

@ Little Lucid Me: Good to hear from you again! I wasn't at that gig, my memory failed me again. The first MP gig I saw was in Tivoli, yes, but in 1999. All that talk of a massive "Chien" got me confused; according to Alex the second longest "Chien" ever taped was played at that concert (lasted about 45 mins.). Glasses I can get (warped lenses? never heard that before!), but you in a Carcass-shirt? Oh & I remember a time before internet too, even a time before CD's!
@ Ummagumma: You lurker you! What's this? You have a Facebook and an MP-forum login? What's the world coming to? Alex has probably already sent it to me; he reacted to my post here a minute later through Facebook, after which I mailed him from Yahoo (this digital age is amazing), but I am sure our C. Idea will be delighted! Give me a call soon anyway, haven't heard from you in a long time. And thanks for the congratulations! To all wondering why the congrats: I'm getting married on July 23rd.

Thomas
Oooh oooh! *sticks up finger as high as it can go Me too! Me too!
Dime and me have never been friends, my computer is of retirement age and my download is limited. Moreover, me and Crackpot Idea were at that concert.
Can I mail you too, Alex? Please?
Greets,
Thomas
Oh God, I remember Bundesliga and Sportschau! My Dad used to watch both the East- and West-German football programmes. I was amazed even then at the amount of handlebar moustaches in those programmes, and this was in the seventies, when there were a lot of handlebar moustaches (usually in combination with a grown-out mullet) around anyway!
Just noticed I described Snah circa 2009… Okay, his was more of a reverse mullet, but anyway!

Death be damned… LIFE!
A camping in Norway in december? You're a cruel MF, Crackpot!
Greets, T
Brilliant news! Bring it on, guys!
@Crackpot: Thanks, finally got it on my computer! That was really fun to do. btw: We start around 19 mins. 45 secs.
@Fillmore: The Machine is a great band, and a nice bunch of guys to boot! I saw David's guitar after they got back home after that gig. He's probably still repairing the damage done by his excessive transpiration that afternoon!

Hey all,
A couple of months ago I was asked to provide additional guitar to the project Alkaloid. Since then we have done three gigs, a radio show and are we booked for State-X New Forms Festival in The Hague next saturday.
Impressions here:
(no sounds from me, all Rob)
(this is a link to the station we played at, podcast not available yet, but this features me on extra guitar)
(link for the festival – where MP premiered "Suite: LLM" btw)
Hope you like!

Nomeansno… They're still going strong! Also, one of the funniest album covers I've ever seen…
Greets,
Thomas
You’re welcome, clundbe. The CD-R was released as 400 copies also. The vinyl is surely from ’06, the cd-r from ’08 if I remember correctly. The label “High Feelings” specialises mainly in electronic music and the vinyl was their first ever release. The cd-r contains reissues of the first two releases by that label.
I am a bit ambivalent about this bootleg/counterfeit actually. If it was a beautifully packaged triple vinyl live anthology, I would see the point. But an original MP song, cut up and repackaged with a different artist and title, albeit on spotless vinyl?
Mind you, I have been deemed a purist by both Jeannette (stickfrau) and Alex (fillmore) on this subject, and they should know!
grtz,
Thomas
It’s an unofficial release, 400 copies. The song is “Go to California” as on ‘Phanerothyme’, but edited heavily. It seems High Feelings were out to Hijack this song and call it their own.
It appears both Stickman and MP just discovered this as well. They both know about it and both have a copy of the vinyl record.
There is also a CD-R version, but I know nothing about this version.
Greets,
Thomas
Slightly on-topic: Does someone have the exact text featured/projected during the live “Plan #1” on “This is Motorpsycho/Hair Cuts”? The line that comes to my mind is “I became the Devil’s loudspeakers”.
Greets,
Thomas
So many reasons why that’s funny!
