Oh – and 7th dream sounds a lot like "Cortez the killer" to me.
And "the faster we go, the rounder we get". That's Dead for you – Motorpsycho's title (part of K9 on RW1) is just the other way round. Got it fast
Whole Lotta Diana – Just turned up in the "worst songs" thread – phew!
I love that one – the AC/DC reference is not only obvious in the title, but also in the somehow inverted "Whole Lotta Rosie" Riff. And they end the song with AC/DC's intro to "Sin City". R.I.P. Malcolm, by the way
That's some of the easy ones. Titles that speak for themselves.
Any trickier stuff?
Full psetlist? Anywhere? Or is that the Berlin setlist below the radio link in the original post? Must be then – but I find it a bit confusing that it was obviously posted two days before the show – probably edited into an older post.
@Punj Lizard: I'll get you a copy somehow. I think it is ok with the guys on DIME that recorded and distributed the show. Motortrades is a bit more restrictive.
How do you like your Cologne souvenir – shall I upload the concert somewhere else (zippyshare or filefactory if possible) an send you a download link?
Will take some time though – it's about 1 gigabyte of material.
Do not want to post it publicly though – with respect to the original uploader.
I'll better post a link on my website for a short time, if that's ok for you.
Just let me know if you still need the material – I'll send you a link to my website after uploading.
Ha – I enjoyed RW II very much when I rediscovered it some years ago. Major achievement in MPs recording career
All you blasphemysts and tyrants – let's all meet under the oak tree for a multi-sides duel armed with Ghettoblasters of the same power and everyone playing his/her favourite motorpsycho tune/album at the same time.
(Would end up to someling like RWII – so my point is proven…)
Still recovering – couldn't sleep till about 4.30 in the morning after that monster of a gig. For those still travelling – hope you reach your destination safe and ready for the next adventures, whether motorpsychedelic or not
@Tomcat – Spacebandit told me on DIME somebody was going to record – was that you? Or probably some other helpful person from Mars? There was enough space drive to reach the outer region of the solar system anyway…
Recording or not – won't forget this gig for a while!
Overwhelming. Started with an incredible 40 minute chien de cologne with Bent changing a string in full flight. Not a weak number tonight, band obviously endjoyed themselves,
lots of jamming included. Incredible!
Strange – I have the same feeling about Eggplant and Behind the Sun.
Especially since I enjoyed the full Hell I-VII they played live in 2014. Sadly very unlikeley to be repeated again.
Would habe been good to release Hell as a single album or part of a double album – with all the other stuff on seperate vinyl. Propably the material wasn't all finished when Eggplant was released.
On the other hand I never had the feeling there was much filler material on the double albums – except for BHBC, that is. Even more heretic: I find Angels and Daemons one of the most incomplete albums they released, although almost every single tune of it is brilliant. And yet there's a feeling they just put anything they had at the time on it without considering an album concept (that's not a concept album ).
Trust Us beats AADAP in this respect by far – even being a double album, there's a kind of structure that leads you somewhere, not just a compilation of songs. That's what a good album does for me.
As for the Kenneth aera – imho Heavy Metal Fruit is up to anything released in the 90s, there are songs like Cornucopia that I'll always miss in a good MP gig and Here Be Monsters is probably the best album released after Trust Us. And live they reached a peak with Kenneth, especially in 2013 and 2014, for me probably the best live years of their whole career. I heard many comments of longstanding MP followers that they had just experienced the best MP concert of all times during that period.
@ Punj Lizard: Good old synchronicity – or selective perception?
See you tommorrow.
Error 404 as well…
What about dime? (could include pix…)
Thanx in advance
Don't worry, I'll spot you at Kult.
Say Hello to Prague for me – haven't been there for a while.
@ Punj Lizard: I'll be at Cafe Kult around 19.15 – Time for a relaxed cuppa before the gig. Walking is about 10 minutes from there.
When you leave the tram at Chlodwigplatz just turn right, cross the street and walk to the next corner. Hard to miss:

See you there!
@ Punj Lizard – There's lots of coffee shops and pubs around Chlodwigplatz – that's the best station to get out of Tram/Underground 16 from Hauptbahnhof. There is also a small cafe inside Stollwerck – but in winter quite limited space, especially before an event.
I usually have my coffee right round the corner from Chlodwigplatz tram station at Cafe Kult – but it's up to you. Depends when you're in town. The early bird might even catch Snah do his shopping with a plastic bag some hours before the gig – happened to me some years before
Interesting first half. Cornucopia and Mountain! Tower back again…
