2 more greats, without him as well, though:
24 hour party people (half doc, half acting out)
the filth and the fury
I've seen him in almost every documentary. There's lots around, from 70ties prog acts to the Punk Years or british New Wave…. anything worth talking about he seems to be in.
As a suggestion, one of my recent favourites is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHUwkYkn_kA
though he isn't in this one.
I have seen him on many many rockumentaries and always liked him. But only now I know why.
??? they opened a mascotte in geneva? i know martin and there's usually metal karaoke in zurich's mascotte. but yes das wär rächt super.
ah la coupole. the pilgrimage years. they haven't made them since 2006 neither.
Absolutely. But I wouldn't mind taking the lazy way for once and see them in my hometown. Okay, I'd still go see them additionally in Basel or some other close places too if they play in Zurich but here I might be able to guide some motorvirginian friends to the light.
:MPD:
the distorted noise is normal, that's deathprod rocking out. that amazon sample isn't the start of the song. it's the later "clean" verse at around 1'00".
mikuz, do you know "dropbox"? if you provide me your email adress to wiper(at)gmx.ch i can lead you there. i put it there as .iso files to grab. then the work is actually on your side.
Oh about the complete Paradiso gig: I have a video-CD copy but the picture is very low res. Sound is ok, mono though. If I can copy it, I can send it to you.
That festival was Lowlands 2000 or 2002. These three songs were played the year with Snah sporting some hot shorts.
and for pharmacies: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d6/ManesseplatzApotheke.jpg
(apotheke = pharmacy in german)
exactly! oh i'd have loved to witness this. a collection of great songs with just a handful of long jams, starting with the majestic gullible and then starmelt, like always and numbness and others! brillant. hope there's a decent recording of this.
Double Album! Great news!
(So far I only read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Murakami, but I can really recommend it)
according to Powerline Agency newsletter, "The Death Defying Unicorn" IS the new album's title. They get sillier every year. But that's ok. Unicorns always make me think of the Blade Runner movie. That's not too bad.
