Both were superb live, played the usual MP way, like in the old days.Vegard is right, location must be somewhere else, maybe Stavanger (hometown of J. Harstad). In fact I also get a n Italian feel, can’t be true?)
The ending had a really cool vibe of Morgenstjernen, a sci fi-ish novel series written by Karl Ove Knausgård.
And don’t get me started on Snah’s vocals on This Is Your Captain

Let’s seen how he will influence recordings. I have feeling even Tomas’s contributions were much lighter on Kingdom Of O. than on the magic Gullvåg Trilogy where they really played as a trio and quartet.
MP finest moments is not due to technical brilliance.
When listening to for example Golden Core, Vortex Surfer, 577, Giftland, Demon Box, Flick of the Wrist, Hogwash and My best friend, we are not blown away by the complex structure of the music, it’s rather the opposite: how rather simple and slow moving music speak direct to heart and soul, full of emotions.
(Of course I can’t even play a single chord of this, but any trained musician should be able to, correct me if I am wrong)

Seems like Bent was somewhat doubtful, however it worked out nicely. Ingvald did new interpretations of Geb’s singing and drumming
Tracks like Go to California requires four guys on stage, Reine solved that as usual.
Only complaint were of course length of show, should have been twice as long.
Festivals are simple: just play your most known and easy going tracks. And make it fast and furious.
