@boomer – Kristoffer posted on Facebook that he would be joining them.
Release date for these albums is 22 June. Does anybody know if shipping will commence in advance of that, or on that date? I can't see any mention of when shipping will commence at the Rune Grammofon website or in my order confirmation from Rune. I'm getting restless with anticipation, and assuming it will take several days to ship to the UK I'm particularly anxious. Or maybe I'm just impatient
It's a brilliant piece of artwork – just superb. But it's a pretty shameles contravention of copyright. I wonder if any complaints have ever been lodged.
The dog at bottom right is a nice addition.
Well I won't be seeing Motorpsycho tonight, but I will be seeing The Art Ensemble of Chicago – hoping, of course, for Theme De Yoyo
@Johnny, @Elvin – I am persuaded. Decided on both 3 and 5 in coloured vinyl from Rune.
@Johnny I wouldn't buy vinyl simply because the albums retain or go up in value. I'm not interested in buying them with a future thought of re-selling them. I also think it highly unlikely that I'll ever buy a record player or get back into buying vinyl instead of CD or download. The only thing I miss about vinyl is the packaging. To my worn down ears, there's no material difference in the sound. I'm also not going to be a collector – a friend who also just got into MP about six months ago immediately started collecting everything on vinyl – he alrady has about 95% of the back catalogue! He'll be ordering all the new Roadwork vinyl releases (1, 2, 3, 5) this afternoon. I'll probably still end up buying the vinyl/CD package anyway – I have a feeling this is going to be a purchase driven by emotion
So today's the day – presale at Stickman starts at 1600 CET.
I still can't decide what to do. I don't have a record player, and the only vinyl I currently own is En Konsert For Folk Flest. I'm pretty sure 5 will be released on CD or download at some point. But will 3? Should I just dive in and buy both vinyl/CD packages anyway? Decisions decisions.
@mcharen – I hope the band approve. 😀
@mcharen – Thanks for the update/clarification.
I see that the Roadburn organisers have just released audio streams of some of the concerts from Roadburn 2017. I'm not sure if they do this for all shows, but assuming they do the same for 2018 shows, we may yet get a chance to hear a recording of the Motorpsycho show (no others have surfaced to the best of my knowledge). It may be a while before anything is released but keep your psycho-sensors on high alert.
@Johnny – Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking.
If you count Köln as part of Un Chien d'Espace, only five songs. My guess is that both SW>L/S and K>UCdE are split across two sides.
So many questions. 😂 When in 2017 was Sleepwalking performed? I recall Juergen mentioning that Bent had played it as a bass solo. Was it played elsewhere? Is it likely that Sleepwalking and Lacuna/Sunrise are taken from the same show?
There's so much about this interview that I like
@ crosskip – Thanks for filling me in. I think (TheOther)Anders may have mentioned it to me at some point, but I just hadn't got there yet.
