Been checking out a lot of the mentioned bands in this thread, and have found some gold in between the "one riff, two tones, 17 min.long song" bands that seems to be in majority here
That Black Contry, New Road album was great, thanks for that one crossskip. I think the vocalist mentioned in one of the songs that people think they sound like Black Midi…. Yes, they do
Yes, I feel I have a sort of complete collection, as in, I have a copy of all the records. Missing some versions of them, like a steel Soothe, but for me, the most important thing is that I have access to all the music made by my favorite band.
As for the Maiden Voyage, its cassette only (I dont have it), but somebody digitized it and made theyr own 7" of it.
Nice collection!
Here`s a picture of a smelly laundrybag, a crappy laptop and some fantastic music (exept Roadworks vol.2. sorry, but that one stinks more than the laundrybag)
Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Uppsala, hahaha nice bandname and songtitles Sounds Jævlabra!
Great that others also find Gøsta Berlin Saga to their liking.
Gonna spend tomorrow at work with headphones on, going trough all the bands mentioned here.
Breaking one rule, its a tad bit older than a 3 year old band, but this is just so fantastic to not share.
Gøsta Berlin Saga.
Check out theyr "detta har hänt" album, its amazing.
Nice.
With help from Google translate, and miniscule knowledge of the german language, it was possible to understand it.
Thanks
Agree with marc here. The old albums got theyr tribute. Also, would be interesting to hear versions from the Kenneth/Tomas albums, some of those songs can be quite diffucult to cover.
I would love to contribute to a tribute
