Maybe we should cut them some slack. They must be on a steep learning curve and it’s probably pretty stressful. It was best to cut their teeth on pressing and distributing an album of odds and sods (which is not to say that there isn’t quality material in there) rather than going straight to the next release proper. That said, maybe black vinyl at a more reasonable price might have been the way to go – for more reasons than one.

Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks – new album ‘True’ released 23rd August
These Geeks also seem to be bringing a vitality to performances of old Yes greats live.
It was definitely a good move to explain things for us. It almost all makes good sense and I hope I won’t be sentenced to Coldplay. It’s just “Tomas ‘imploding'”…? Did that need to be there?

Just in case anyone didn’t get enough Psychonaut, Michael Green has also posted his video of same.
Not a signpost to a new direction then – merely a collection of odds ‘n’ sods, however you want to dress it up. (I can think of a previous assortment of ‘fragments’ not all of which were pearls.) So I won’t despair if I am underwhelmed; better things are round the corner. Anyway, I know there will be something in there to savour. There always is.
