Bernie, are you kidding?! “Should I stop?” For God’s sake, no! I would happily be paying you for this work!
@Spacebandit: Your name is very familiar from shows found in various corners of the internet. You are doing us all an immense service! Thank you!
When I get round to returning to Dime, I’ll have no problem with donating. Nobody could begrudge such a thing!
Thank you again, Thor! Your invite, this thread and other conversations on here finally convinced me to go for it and get involved again with peer-to-peer – something I hadn’t done for so many years. I was on Dime a very long time ago, so I suppose my return there is inevitable now.
I also want to express my gratitude to the tapers, uploaders and all who so unselfishly make sharing this bounty possible. It helps make up for my not having been able to attend a gig since 2019. I appreciate it so much!
Now my ratio doesn’t look too good because I unwisely went and downloaded the Øya 2006 DVD, as well as three recent Ingvald shows (which sound great, by the way!), so I’ll restrain myself now and just keep my client open for reseeding.
Cheers Thor!

Yes, Stickman were great, and importing can be an expensive hassle. Maybe Agitated Records can help us. I ordered the Rock Bottom/Silver Dollar Forger single from them and it came very quickly.
I wrote via the site linked to by ThorEgil and was told they hadn’t so far thought about translating it, but they might do so in the future, so if others also nag them, that will increase our chances.
Anyway, at least this has finally got me to move my arse and order the Blissard book. I know – talk about being late to the party!
Ah! Thank you Thor! It is as I suspected.
Well, The Demon Box box is a very satisfying artefact, so that bodes well. It was your good self who posted here a year ago that Christer Falck had said on Facebook that the aim was to produce an English version, so here’s hoping!
Thanks for that link. I’ll contact them there to press the case for an English version.
Okay, I remember there was going to be a book, but now it’s here? Is this something I would have needed to be on Facebook to find out? I will never be doing Facebook. Could someone please be kind enough to tell me whether there is an English version and, if so, how I can get my hands on one? Thank you!

I really hope some of these recent shows have been captured for the sake of those poor Psychonauts who, like myself, have been unable to attend any of them.
Okay, so I got the single some missed out on, but I’d have foregone that in an instant for being able to witness any of these shows you lucky people have been raving about.
I’d love to hear The Wheel with Ingvald driving.
Wow! Sounds amazing! It is going as well as I dared to hope with Ingvald.
Just on Sentinels. It has evolved so much, I think it merits going into the studio to record it in its new incarnation. If not that, then it must get on the next Roadworks volume.
Dreams do come true sometimes, JERO. It happened before, so it can happen again.
And, if there is no permanent drummer, couldn’t the possibility present itself of Geb or Kenneth or Tomas coming back for the occasional blast of nostalgia – whether alone or in tandem with another?
Ah, I can hear it now. Earlier, my ears were deceiving me.
The main thing is: new music is on its way! And I’ve got a good feeling about it!
@ThorEgil: Thank you for providing the link.
@Punj: They have to be pragmatic I suppose, and just use drummers this way. Tomas was impoverished, and it seems that played a big part in his departure. Unless a drummer is an equal creative partner, he (or she!) might be better advised to be a gun for hire. It’s just a bit of a shame to think that there is no longer a permanent ‘band’, as such, and one wonders whether something will be lost if the third leg is not present at the daily shifts these hard-working boys (or should that be dads?) put in.
Also, with different drummers being used, might there be some loss of identity? Still, these guys have always known what they are doing, so I trust them, and I’m sure there is some great stuff to come. Maybe they have concluded that this is the only way.
I just can’t help wishing it could be Ingvald and only Ingvald, for all sorts of reasons. But if he wants to continue with Kanaan, maybe it all gets a bit tricky.
Mind you, Gabriel and Crimson managed to figure out a way of sharing Tony Levin, but then we’re talking about economics on a different level there – a massive tour each every few years, and even rarer albums!
I am probably being stupid, cloth-eared or both, but is that Olaf they are talking about at 7:51, “going into the studio in November with Reine and [?].” Does Olaf have another name? If it’s not Olaf, who is it?
Mine arrived today. Love the artwork for the Silver Dollar Forger side. The BBC repeated the Nazareth performance of the song on the Old Grey Whistle Test a few years ago, and I remember it making me sit up and take notice! They knew how to do it in those days!
A lot of real monsters in there! That’s even with Gullible rested. Lucky audience! I suppose that setlist would be less to the liking of those who preferred the selections when Olaf was behind the kit. Personally, I just like them to keep mixing it up. I can’t wait for what they create in terms of new material with Ingvald – at least, I hope that is going to happen; it looks as though it absolutely must!
Sentinels and Arne H, thanks to Lateralus (who has also uploaded PPP):
