Quote:P.S. When the Torrent download is is red for extended periods, what is it telling me. I have 50% of the Utrecht video and I'm trying to get Vienna 2002 and "Muziek-o-Droom". They have been non-active for abot 20 hours.
Most likely it means that there are no seeders present to seed the complete torrent. But it could also mean that either you or the seeders are not connectable (being firewalled or not having forwarded the port you're using to leech/seed could do so)
Iron Frock is a new song, I think. The way it's described (as a short, hard, heavy rocker), I think it might be the same as Leslie's Vest/On A Plate? Snah on lead vocals?
Either that, or they covered Motorhead's Iron Horse (like they did in Osnabrück earlier this year) and called it Iron Frock on the setlist
Hi. Unfortunately, that video in its entirety is not available anymore. It is possible someone ripped the stream, and traded it privately. But I haven't seen it for a while.
Parts of it is however available on the Hair Cuts DVD that was released in 2008.
Yeah, I'm also seeing tweets about Coventry Boy, Serpentine and 577 as the first encore!
And somebody mentioned that the opener was 22 mins long
Like Gusse said. Vortex Surfer was played from 12 o'clock midday on New Year's Eve until 12 o'clock midday on New Year's Day.
A 15 minute excerpt from the gig:
Yeah, I noticed that, too. Slight Within You Without You quote there from Bent.
Yeah, they played 30/30 near the end. Forgot to mention.
Soundcheck snippet/interview here
Just got back from the gig. More or less the same as in Nidarosdomen; the only real differences were in the improvs. Opening improv was less melodic than the one in Trondheim. Kenneth's drumsolo was good, but still just a drumsolo. Ståle's improv was bordering Supersilent at times. But some of the sounds he pumped out of that organ, will never be played there again  It became more melodic near the end, though.
The songs, however, were imho played a bit tighter than in Trondheim (judging from the Nidaros-bootleg). Same musical themes explored. Highlight of the gig was the second musical theme. I could listen to that B minor Snah guitar theme all day long!
Great gig!
Tonight's the night! Really looking forward to this special occasion!
Doesn't seem like anyone recorded it in full. But here's a couple of Youtube-snippets:

Interesting to hear the new musical themes that'll be on the new album. Esspecially the theme that starts at approx 33:30 and lasts for about 10 mins. Holy shit, that stuff is just breathtakingly beautiful!
