It’s possible that Rapidshare has some kinda limit on how many times the files can be downloaded. In that case, they have to be re-uploaded.
Half decent recordings Traktor. And I’m surprised that you managed to capture my roar of joy at 10:31 in TGC  I must’ve yelled loud then.
Funny trivia: Hanne Hukkelberg actually played a solo-show in Drammen yesterday. One hour after that show was finished, she stood on stage at Øya:
Ah ok. If it’s just audio, then maybe you should just upload it to Rapidshare, Yousendit, Sendspace or something like that.
Depends on how large the files are, I guess.
Youtube or Vimeo are your best options, me thinks. But on Vimeo you can put the entire footages up, instead of chopping them up like on Youtube.
Slightly off-topic: Looks like somebody was having fun here
It seems like our picture was removed from the Aftenposten-article. Bummer
Anyway, thanks a lot to Traktor, Tellef, Sondre, nameless girl and Traktor’s friend which I’ve unfortunately forgotten the name of (5 days of alcohol fucks up one’s memory for sure  )
Can’t really say anything that hasn’t been said. I need at least a couple of days to land from this Motorpsychodelic trip. Really dug the setlist order: The shorter songs at first to get them warmed up before the lengthy marathons at the end.
Godamn, what a night! And what a terrific ending to an already awesome festival! And now time to get some well-deserved sleep.
Sure, Traktor. I think I saw either yours or Otherfool’s cellphone number in the other thread, so I’ll text or call one of you sometime on Saturday
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! The Saturday just can’t come quick enough
I’ve been to the first two days of Øya. And the quality of the concerts have been outstanding. To have this ending it all off…. Fuck me sideways, it’s gonna be a terrific Saturday evening!
I agree with mr.nelson about the Grindstone-ending. Bent wrote in the liner notes that they altered the ending to have a more intense one. I think the original ending with Deathprod’s moody Mellotron-playing is as, if not more, intense, than the noise-from-hell loop of the original.
I also think Innersfree is a lost classic. But I can sorta understand why they chose to throw it out: It’s a bit too similar to some of the DB type songs. And I guess mr.nelson really enjoys the edit of The Wheel (since you think the original is way too long…)
But at least it’s out now
The reason I think they included Celestine was because it was recorded at Brygga studio. While the infamous “lost album” with Mad Sun, 7th Dream, Pat & Put, Flick, When The World Sleeps (early In The Family) and Black W’abbit + others were recorded @ Kunstakademiet.
Or maybe they just wrote the incorrect date on the Hey Jane EP, and decided to correct it for the TM box release…
Quote:So.. Kenneth AND Geb behind the drums on some songs???Yes, but only a few apparently. Geb will mostly stick to banjo and acoustic guitar.
Unfortunately this review isn’t all that good, even though they gave it the highest score.
Very 90’s, Very Aware
Now that she’s gone, we can steal some dough
Get some hash, some glue and a video
Watch the sign/song(?) from the sofa
And laugh at the latest MTV band
They will live a decent life some other day
Hail mother cable network queen
Watching news while sniffing kerosene
No, I’m easy man, just pass the beer
The latest scene is just not there
They will live a decent life some other day
You’re so cool! When you’re in-sig-nificent!
They will live a decent life some other day (x3)
When ??????????????????, I’m okay
Go!
You’re so cool! When you’re in-sig-nificent, baby!
With the exception of the question marks, these lyrics seem relatively accurate.
Disc 3 is not that different. Except from the three songs that got cut off, there’s the longer Grindstone. And Now It’s Time To Skate is shorter, because they faded it right after Bent’s last singing. And Giftland’s intro is shorter because Innersfree segues right into it (really cool segue, by the way)
