I’m not so sure if the MP/Storløkken/Sula concert is shown live on NRK2. Because their broadcast starts at 19:30 local time, while MP starts playing at 17:00….
At least according to this
However it is possible that NRK radio station P2 might broadcast it live because their broadcast starts at 14:03 that day… And that channel can be streamed from their website easily without country/IP restrictions.
Yeah, that is Bent’s 8 string bass. You can see 4 big and 4 small knobs for the strings if you look closely.
Not sure if it was an 8-string on the 2009 tour, though.
There’s a nice thread here: http://www.guitargeek.com/chat/showthread.php?t=105207
After hearing some of the live-versions of Bombproof, I can give a correction to one line:
Instead of: Take the ???, team on with the void
More correct: Terminal velocity team up with the void
They didn’t play Starless live in the TM-period. They played it three times on the autumn tour of 1996, and one of those were recorded (Veita, Trondheim)
I think this is his source:

Motorpsycho and Elephant9 got 20k NOK in financial support to do those two gigs in London.
Nope, Anneli Drecker has never sung TGC live with MP before. So that will be a first.
Quote:You can actually hear the whole incident on the recording. Both the singing and the actual spitting. But i gotta say….quite uncalled for if you ask me. I mean, had he been singing out of tune for a minute or so, i could have understood. But this goes on for about 3-4 seconds, and he doesen’t even sing that loud.Actually, the opera-guy goes on for a little longer than 3-4 seconds. He starts at 5:52, and then goes Pavarotti until approx. 6:10 where you hear Bent the Lama laying down the punishment. O Sole Mio and The Golden Core are not even close to being the most natural pairing in this world  But I’ll stop debating this now, let’s agree to disagree.
The cool thing about the Leipzig-recording is that the boys sound a bit tighter than some of the other boots I’ve heard this tour. And man oh man, that version of Bombproof… That is by far one of the best fuckin’ MP-performances I’ve ever heard!
Thx for the link.
I think this is the pre-version:
1.Feel(03:31:00)
2.Trapdoor(04:21:18)
3.Leave it like that(02:34:21)
4.A shrugh & a fistfull(03:14:24)
5.Kill some day(06:51:28)
6.The wheel(08:48:02)
7.Watersound(05:10:16)
8.On my pillow(05:43:02)
8.Wearin yr Smell(03:36:18)
9.Now its time to skate(04:55:13)
10.Grindstone(07:16:17)
11.The golden core(13:00:15)
Originally meant for the UK and US markets.
monomind: It’s not that weird that he likes b-sides. When you have b-sides like The Wheel (acoustic), Mad Sun, 7th Dream, Sterling Says, Pat + Put, Wishing Well, Flick Of The Wrist ++++, I can’t blame him for digging the shit out of some of those songs
Another thing that was cool to hear was that they quoted Fool’s Gold in Come On In from 2:43 and until the last Come On In chorus
Quote:And to you “otherdemon”:“So Bent…if you’re reading this…..Smelling the stink yet? Cus i can see your head dissapearing up your own ass! Get a fucking grip man!
1/10 “
Nice! NOT!! You should seriously think about changing your nick to DRAMA QUEEN…
Have a nice evening folks!

Actually, I never said that. It was GBD
Thx a lot Elisa. Tour debuts for No Evil. Mr Victim and Hey Jane, I guess.
I do think it is kinda astonishing that a small load of saliva actually gets more attention than the actual performance.
So what about the gig? Downloading from Dime as we speak.
EDIT: Finished downloading. Man, that ultralong 20 minute version of Bombproof is fucking amazing!
