Nottingham?
I don't mind that they are playing that early. I can get drunk at any time of the day. However, 2 hours just doesn't cut it for me. I know, it's relatively generous. But even a 3 hours set feels too short, so I won't settle for 2 hours only.
My gut feeling says K9 is way more regular than Plan #1.
Serbia? Nice! Have they played there before?
Actually, check out now: https://www.funde.no/project/view/119
I wouldn't mind the mp3 version of this EP as well. Because I simply don't care if I listen to it on vinyl or on mp3. For me it's the same. Well, not quite true, mp3 is much simpler to set up so I prefer mp3.
If you wonder why half of the audience is sitting… Korn played next, and all the misunderstood kids wanted to make sure to be in front for the next concert.
What day will they play?
It's up to us to explore what that means. Paul is dead!
I introduce others by taking them to a gig.
Now that you explained it and I just listened to the song again, I find the connection kinda obvious. "Let's get some weed and chill out to Pink Floyd" on the same record.
I guess we have a winner…
Random Unicorn song
To me this record never "clicked". It's just an accumulation of sounds that does not resonate with any part of my body. I tried it live, and then skipped the next four shows for which I had tickets. Then tried it live again and understood it was a good decision to skip those four shows. I wanted to give the record another try since then, but never had the right amount of energy to do so.
Ratcatcher
Again, just a mix of things that does not make any sense to me. I really like the eggplant album. Maybe also due to its shortness, it's one of my favorite records of the Kenneth-era.
Intreprid Explorer
Don't like the singing. Don't like the noodling.
Ship Of Fools
Starts good, but becomes a big mess by the end.
Starhammer
I don't like the Heavy Metal Fruit. Maybe you start to see a pattern. Yes, I'm not much into Prog. (I really like e.g. Kvaestor though!)
Walking On The Water
I find this worse than Neverland. Why? Because I've heard it so many times live. And it's really not a good song to begin with.
What If…
Little Ricky Massenburg is one of their best pop tunes. How on earth did What If… make the cut for the record?
Where's the connection between Never Let You Out and Syd Barrett?
Are unintended references allowed as well? Then I have to say, that the album cover of Angels And Demons At Play always reminds me of the Stones' Beggars Banquet. Don't even know why, I guess it's the color.
See, there's the proof! No song without lovers, no song without haters.
