How many people can see the shows in Trondheim and in Hamar? Is the maximum capacity 50 persons?
How many tickets can be sold for the "Blitz" Shows?
It makes more sense to book a bigger venue instead of a small one like the "Blitz" for three shows but bigger venues are probably closed and will not open for a single show.
Oh dear, I can remember him very well, too. He offered me, The Other Anders and Øystein accomodation in May 2002 when Motorpsycho played in Mannheim. He stayed in my flat after a Motorpsycho show in Berlin, too (I can't remember the year).
Thank you very much, Bernie!
There has always been a rumour (since the 90's) that this gig was recorded but no one knew that it was even filmed.
Unfortunately this recording is very short (only 49 minutes) and the last three Songs are missing but it is a document of an era with only few recordings.
The next gig in Marburg (1995-03-11) was short, too (only 75 minutes). The taper told me that Bent was ill. Maybe he got infected by Morten.
The stream is 160:34 minutes long and this is the recording which will be broadcasted in three parts, starting tomorrow.
Reminder: Part 1 (of three broadcasts) will be broadcasted on February 21st, see here:
@ otherdemon:
The track between "Frances" and "Demon Box" is unknown for me, too. The line "I saw you on Tuesday…" was later used in The Sift/Now It's Time To Skate but the melody is too different compared to those two songs.
Trondheim 2017-09-16 was recorded by Lars and uploaded by spacebandit on dime. It has already fallen from the tracker.
Thanks for the Information about the song "Rise Above".
Queen's "Sheer Heart Attack" was played twice: It was performed in Eindhoven (2006-05-04) and in Biel (2006-05-09).
@ Mark, do you have any more memories like songs which were played or length of the show? Was it all acoustic?
The Visitant 7" for 60 Euros?
Sinful, Wind-Borne 7" for 60 Euros?
"California" EP for 30 Euros?
@ kjellepelle
Many thanks for this tour date. The show was not recorded and there it is not mentionend in this Forum or Website, either.
There were a few days off between June 5th 1994 (show in Utrecht) and June 9th 1994 (next show in Aalborg). There were no days off in 1995 because the Motorpsycho members played a Tussler Show on June 7th 1995 in Trondheim.
Can you remember any songs of this show which could be added to our (forthcoming) database?
This is exactly a database many people are looking for.
Have you already sent an email to me? I have a word file with all setlists and tour dates and I have sent it to everyone who asked for it.
I am willing to check out the correctness of setlists. I can manually add setlists, too and I hope that it is not difficult (technically speaking).
I started my personal database in 2002 or 2003 (or later) with a word file. It has now more than 240 pages and includes all tour dates and setlists including Tussler. Moreover, I asterisked (*) all the gigs which have been recorded by the audience. Unfortunately I don't have an overview about all video recordings by Bernie. They have to be added.
I have a song index for Motorpsycho and another one for Tussler, too.
I counted more than 400 different Songs which have been performed live since 1990 (see the other thread).
For this reason there were more than 55 concerts in 1993 because Motorpsycho played Berlin KOB 1993-01-29 and I know someone who recorded this Show in an occupied house in Berlin-Schöneberg. It is not listed on Dampsaba but it took place. It was organised by the same Berlin promoter who still organises Motorpsycho concerts nowadays.
In an old Dampsaba Version there were also those gigs listed but those are deleted in the current Version:
GER Salzgitter,Forellenhof 30.01.93
GER Schleswig,JUZ 31.01.93
GER Hamburg Marquee Club 01.02.93
DK Odense Rytmeposten 04.02.93
DK København Ungdomshuset 05.02.93
DK Aalborg 1000 fryd 06.02.93
Dampsaba stated "setlist not available". This sounds that those gigs took place but the band could not remember the setlists.
Can anyone remember why those gigs have been deleted?
I chosed "Song For A Bro'" instead of "Whip That Ghost" because it was firstly played in 1999 and the setlists named it "Song For A Bro'".
