Thanks for the report!
Was "Rattlesnake" the song from "Barracuda" or "Rattlesnake Shake" (Fleetword Mac) which was performed a few times in 2009 and 2010? The Barracuda track has never been played live before.
Thank you Rolf for solving the riddle!! And thank you for the recording!
Thanks mikke for the report. Can you remember if "Azrael" was "ny half lang" or "ny lang"?
It would be great if someone was there on October 27th and 28th and could tell us if this performance was a concert or arts.
I will keep my fingers crossed that you will hear other songs which you haven't heard in Antwerp before, especially the new long track. Maybe it is called Azrael or Ancient Astronauts? If they play it and you can reach a setlist then we will know.
Is it possible to open a new thread for "non Motorpsycho" live experiences and expected shows? This thread is called "Motorspycho live 2021" and I always hope to read new information about forthcoming Motorpsycho shows this year after seen a new post.
@ ThorEgil: What's the capacity of Oslo's "Blitz"?
@ ThorEgil: Thank you!
How lucky you Norwegians are!
If you are looking on the websites of German indoor venues then you will notice that (almost) every show is postponed to next year. We have the rule "fully vaccinated or having surved Covid-19", too but the promoters are still uncertain to use it.
Are there still any restrictions like reduced capacities, distances or a duty to wear a mask on indoor Events in Norway? Or is it a duty being vaccinated?
I still haven't found out which tv station recorded and broadcasted those two songs.
I still have memories though I have seen 36 Motorpsycho concerts so far and can't remember any detail of the shows. There are audio recordings which help to bring back memories.
This was recorded in Cologne, Live Music Hall on 2001-10-14. I was not aware that this concert was filmed (I attended the concert, by the way).
Many thanks for this report!
Only 20 persons allowed? You were lucky! There are still two tickets for sale by OyvindL? Unfortunately, I can't go.
Roadwork volume 3 was a video which was first released in May 2008 on a dvd.
MOTORPSYCHO – Roadwork Vol. 3: The Four Norsemen of the Apocalypse
The vinyl version of the video was released in 2018. This might cause some confusion.
@ ThorEgil and odindahle: Thank you both for providing us with information!
It is funny that Motorpsycho performed a new song in 2020 which was not to be released on the forthcoming album in 2021 but maybe on the album after in 2022 (or earlier?).
It is similar with the setlist which obviously includes new songs (maybe The Hornet?) still to be released.
@ ThorEgil:
If you have the chance to talk to someone of the band could you please ask if "The Hornet" (which was played in December in Trondheim) is a track of the album (with a different title, of course) or an unknown song. Thanks!
