              Here’s my suggestion:

Start off slow by beginning with; Bedroom Eyes -> Hey Jane -> Wearing Yr Smell (By now she may think of MP as stricktly a Pop’ish band. Now blast her brains out with; Nothing to say -> Mantrick Muffin Stomp -> Demon Box (by this point she’s aware of their diversity, and to further that notion, give her some of that ol’ jazz vibes) -> Bombay Brassiere -> The Otherness -> Tristano (and the country vibe) -> Cassie (Call on Me) -> Hogwash (The Tussler) -> Shitbox Ford (Then some more pop stuff) -> The Other Fool – Landslide -> Serpentine (ny this point she’s already mindblown by their skills, diversity and overall craftsmanship, but you’ve got a few more tricks up your sleve) -> The Golden Core -> LLM Suite -> Gullible’s Travails (Now she’s probably wet between her legs, and so it’ll be a blast telling her that this is just the tip of the iceberg :)

Ps; This was sort of my wish list, if i were the one to be introduced to MP. But if it’s so that you have a limited number of records to choose from, then why not just make a dream play list for her on Spotify?

I don’t blame you man! Alot of fucked up features and spam etc to ruin an otherwise fine idea. But nevertheless, it’s nice for sharing and keeping in touch…

That is NOT Snah, and you can clearly see it around the mouth + the beard is different. But damn, it looks like him tho :)

Heh funny….Snah talks about making music for a video game + alot of other stuff, and you guys end up focusing on his trousers :)

                    But seriously…Snah is the coolest!

@ leucocyte: You read my mind about the reference to a god. But i think we’re talking about THE god here. No matter what religion you lean towards, there’s always the notion that there’s a higher power behind it all. And so the Starhammer (which can easily be another word for GOD – Starhammer – he who built the universe) represents GOD in the way that many fundamentalists precieve Him/her/whatever. Like a prair that goes unnoticed. Hence the “Always watching, but never interfering” part.

The more i think about it, the stronger the religious undertone rings through in the lyrics. The Starhammer (God) – The Knuckleheads (meaning humanity)that realize just how insignificant they really are, but also are in awe of the massive creation around them . The “round and round” reference in ABPR&B, where we eat our time on this earth in a faster and faster pace, in search of cheap thrills and insignificant joys, “never catching on” to what it’s all about. Thou Shalt not lie, to yourself of to others, as explained in Close your eyes and W.B.A.T (Those songs can count as inner space exploration aswell), and finally the lack of hope in an evil, material and plastic world (G T) as we sail along the timeline, forgetting the past, when life really ment something….When GOD was in our hearts instead of satan…or something like that

Well…there are several other ways to interpret these lyrics. This (however clueless it may be) is one of them :)

                      Ps; I’m an agnostic :)

                        — This would also be a killer setlist!

The best thing tho would be if us fans could choose the setlist from all their albums. Imagine how cool that would be?! :)

To me the answer is simple; TIMOTHY’S MONSTER!!!

Tkink about it…if this album wins, we’ll get hits like Now it’s time to skate, Watersound, Feel, Kill Some Day and Wearing yr smell, aswell as monsters like The Weel, The Golden Core and not to mention Giftland and grindstone! That would be fab!!

If not, then Trust us would be a blast too!

I voted TM, TU and AADAP

@ TAF: I think kenneth name dropped Black Sabbath as an influence on this album both on that German (was it?) Interview, aswell as at the Store Studio interview. I agree with the BS feel of W.B.A.T, and i even think that Bent sounds alot like Ozzy while singing the phrase; “Seems it only served to magnify the pain and doubt” – if you think Sabbra Cadabra vocals. The blend of his high pitched voice plus the reverb on the vocals reminds me of that track every time i hear those words :)

                                Yeah congrats lads!

On another note regarding the album: I’ve noticed that more then a few reviews has put their fingers on the “nice guitar harmonics” on the album. There are many parts where it could seem like there are two guitars playing different soloish stuff both left and right (Take the intro to W.B.A.T and GT P 3 for instance). But after listening to the album non stop for a week now, i think that the so called guitar on the right side of the soundscape is infact KÃ¥re and his keyboard, through some kind of fuzzbox or overdrive pedal. If that’s the case, then i think more kudos are in order, cus he does a great job!

                                Any thoughts?

                                  @ Otherdemon:

Huh…as long as it’s out there, 40 minutes in length and with good songs on it, i don’t get why it shouldn’t be viewed as a real album?! Anyway, here’s to a miracle happening, that the norwegian audience realizes that JON&G is crap, and that MP deserve this award for yet a good album + their tireless effort to make good music for 20+ years now! Go Motorpsycho!!
