At what point in the set did they play "Bomb-Proof"? Before or after "The Alchemyst"? And how long was it? The video cuts off at 12,5 minutes…
Thanks!
Thanks for the setlist? No "The wheel" in "Starhammer"?

Five years ago on this day "Black Hole / Blank Canvas" was released!
Spaceplace — thanks for the setlist! Can you remember during which songs they were joined by Jørgen Træen? A friend of mine brought to my attention that Træen played on and mixed the album "Little Lucid Moments". So he probably played on "The Alchemyst". Any other songs maybe too?
I can totally see your point, Shakti. Although for my taste Tønsberg would have been just right. Not that I don't love an acoustic "Mad sun" or "Landslide" but I think they are in a great space-rock place right now and I think that it would be worth exploring that vibe a bit more (before they will probably head towards jazz and horns again with the new album). Therefore I would have totally prefered to see Tønsberg compared to Stord.
"Hey, Jane" was played 10 times in 2008, once in 2009 (Milano 12.11.2009) and once in 2010 (Aalborg 10.06.2010), which was the song's last performance before Stord.
"Fool's gold" / "Mad sun" — beautiful!
Great news!
Here is another picture by Ira Ira:
More:
"They started with Year Zero and then Close Your Eyes. The acoustic set was Fool's Gold and Mad Sun. They also played Hogwash and Landslide. And they finished with Gullible's Travails."
A small video interview conducted at the soundcheck:
Ira Ira says:
"They played even longer yesterday. Probably around 2hours and 45min. They did a small acoustic part as well that included "Mad sun". And then Jørgen Træen was the guest artist which worked really well. Very enthusiastic audience!"
What about the visuals? They can be seen in the picture a bit. The promoter told me before the show that they intend to cover a huge wall behind the stage with a screen and have special visuals…
Thanks for the comments Thomas, I enjoyed reading them!
Like Tomcat said: Sweet! Hope they got the vocals right during the acoustic portion

Fifteen years ago, on this day in 1996, Motorpsycho performed at Rockefeller in Oslo for the third time in their career. The show was recorded and aired on Norwegian radio NRK P3 and eventually became — together with the concert at Rockefeller the following spring — one of the two most widely spread unofficial Motorpsycho live recording!

Also the much debated, or rather dissed, "PPP" would be interesting to hear. I must admit "Close your eyes" didn't really blow me away. Pretty doomy, yes, but not a towering psychedelic highlight — at least not on YouTube (cannot be compared to live anway).
Btw: Do people actually still record concerts on audio devices? Anyone around here who taped this show?
