Fuck Oya Festival, they should organise their very own event/festival, just like PHISH do. Just imagine a two day festival with the only band on the bill: MOTORPSYCHO!!!!!!!

Back in November 2009 Stickman told me that Hamburg will most likely NOT be on the tour schedule for May 2010. I suggest to get a ticket for Bremen where MP shows traditionally are sublime and superior to most HH shows we’ve seen the last years.

Well, they draw similiar crowds (ca. 600-1.000) but Mono are much more present in media and web 2.0 etc.! It is my guess that they sell more CDs/LPs/Downloads than MP, however relevant that might be…

Just recently (during the latest tour) I talked about that show with fellow psychonauts and everybody seemed convinced it was the Japanese Mono. I was stoked about that kick ass line up! Thanks for the clarifiaction! I don’t know how big Mono (JP) were in 2002 but nowadays they are definitely bigger than MP…
Hopefully the promoter has MP’s approval. I remember that Mono (yes! the band from Japan!) — even though they were booked and their name was printed on the ticket — got kicked off the bill in Rotterdam 2002 because MP didn’t want a support.
Wow, that Italian video is a sensation!!! There was an entry in Paul’s database — apart from Knut’s list the first systematic documentation of MP live recordings — of a certain acoustic show which was partially aired on Swiss radio. The entry reads as follows:

I think the “biggest” name they had so far was Colour Haze so Motorpsycho would be by far the most famous band they’ve had on the bill up to this point.
