I would pay for this too! Even three nights in a row.
More residencies please! That's a concept I'd like to support even without a pandemic
Fall tour 8O
Neolyd – "If you'll buy only one guitar album this year you won't have to wait any longer."
Desert Fest Berlin canceled
Really hard to believe that Bent approved this but even so amazing that he did
Editor says that's all they mixed…
Complete stream available now!
Hell yeah, great! See you there
The Leipzig recording will be aired on those dates:
21.02.2020
28.02.2020
06.03.2020
21.05.-22.00 on Deutschlandfunk
Editor says upon approving the final mixes he decided to air all of it in three parts, because "where I am supposed to fade this out" and that after the first mixes were done they "listened silently to all of 'Mountain' – BÄM!".
Roadworks 5.5!
Tromsø setlist / report anyone? Final show of the year coming up on 07.12. in Trondheim!
Quote:Oh yes, but the problem is that it takes time and I know they want to use their time to do new stuff.Have someone else do it! The canon of highlight shows is fairly established so there needn't be much searching for the right shows to publish in the beginning. Some audio tweaking maybe, but keep it raw and pure and put them out via a download-only solution. Compare livedownloads.com
Quote:The best model would be, in my opinion, the phish.net model used for Phish concerts, which have some similarities in managing the setlistsWord! Regardless if you like the band Phish or not, we definitely want something like this, i.e. a searchable database on the net. Check out the song history of the song "Tweezer", which is Phish's "K9" and tell me that you want something like this:
Tweezer overview | Tweezer history | Tweezer jam chart
Quote:If I'm not wrong, Alex "Kisshermind" Schulze opened a site trying to report MP's concerts and setlists exactly in that way… But, alas, I don't remember the name of the site, nor if it's still alive… Maybe, Alex himself could help us!It was called Motorgigs.org and I started it in 2011. It was all manual work, i.e. no database, which was impossible to maintain so I had to abandon it soon. I have not given up hope though to contribute to a comprehensive MP concert history one day. It's my big dream to channel all our efforts and all these contributions into a single outlet where one could dive deep into the concert history of MP.
Should be exciting to learn if we get new recordings, i.e. previously uncirculated gigs, that way. However, I'd rather see them digging into the vault of soundboard tapes for an archival release every six months or so.
Much appreciated !!! Thanks
