Yes, we both discussed a few BÖC songs, how about “7 Screaming Dizbusters”??? At least it should be one from the first three BÖC albums. Those were all phenomenal!
Again, superb setlist…Waether conditions were good, so a bit of CAL feeling…surfing the moon.
Up/Down the hills of the holy Herzberg MOUNTAIN…
Rock Bottom, ok…but I wonder if they’ll one day play “Astronomy” (BÖC). Hey Bent…Holy Moly…Holla die Waldfee!
That seemed to be a helluva fun! I’ve already seen a few pics, the four “Norskmen” (ok, one swedish…)And the info that they played Überpilgrim. But nothing else, yet. Seen them all four times before there and it was always a magical night.
2008 had a horrible sound, but it was there I got “on the bus”. So I went to the epic show in Bielefeld a few weeks later. 2011 was that misty mountain hop thing, 2015 the first time together with dear Lars and 2018 the Herzberg Wheel…
But this seems to be completely nutz!
Well…let’s see what we get to hear…at least two tapers were present. And promised me a recording…BENTISLOUD,INGVALDISWEIRD,REINEISSPACE BUTONLY SNAH IS GOD!
Short Festival Rock Show. Nice.
And yes, Captain Snah is God and Uncle Fuzz blows up the bass!
Indeed, very cleaar vocals, Snah a bit low.
Personal enjoyments: Mountain, Tower and, of(f)course Up/Down > Supistooge. I guess the audience had a helluva fun.And OFF course, this is the one. F**ing great venue, and as both Bielefeld and Bremen love the band, it’s a give an take.
Tusen Takk. Fantastic music played on this tour.
But I still hope they never play ROCK AM RING as HEADLINER…LOL…I was in Schorndorf – with my 19 years old son Bent.
All good things come to those who wait.
Quote Bill Graham, on Grateful Dead New Year’s Eve.You might will relieve the unique electric spheres from the nthe westcoast spaces from the deltas of the fjords…
the recording of the two onstage zooms sound really good. as soon as I get the pictures as well it’ll be up on dime…enjoy! great show!
@ Mark…At least you’ll be able to listen to it…
2 Recorders Onstage…and I guess some more in the audience.Tomcat, sad to hear that, as the recorders onstage did work wellboth in Hannover and Bielefeld. But maybe the location is an awful capitalistic shithouse. Hope some other tapers did succeed.
Glad you got your recorder back.
Still, that SUCKS!
As the band themselves are sooo taperfriendly.Yeah, but let’s see what magic they will do in Bielefeld…
Another “livingroom” of them @ Forum.Up on Dime now.
I won’t be doing it by myself, but if anyone will upload my recordings that’s fine with me. Null Problemo.
A few notes from what I heard, liner notes, not checked on typos yet…
Spacey’s notes (6:12 a.m., Bielefeld, Tyskland)
What a blast! Didn’t I write that before about a MP show? Guess so.
The glorious ViKINGS of “the” experience you can get on a far-out rock music show. All in, nothing left.
So, here’s a fresh example of them creating a surrelastic pillow of westcoast feeling. Oh, not California, the westcoast of lovely Norway.
On the road since some 35 years, our dear explorers of the unknown substances that the northern gods put into the water up there.Or is it the fish?
Who knows, me not, I’m still your little Spacey disciple who gets closer by every note listened to his personal nirwana.
I really dig their new album, the former two were kind of “Leftovers” to me, some nice moments, but nothing close to the new real deal.
It will escape my mind why that album again will not sell millions of, sure, vinyls. But as Percy one sang “That’s the way”.
So, here’s the album, played live with warts and all, in its pure beauty, mixed up with a few classics from their – thankfully – long catalogue of fine songs.
Some may this show call it the “Tzar-Show”, but I think it got a very loose feeling, a probably mentioned person can never achive. No Kool-Aid in his mind.
And if you’re not going to California with flowers in your hair, you might take a rainjacket in your backpack and explore a surfer-free west coast.
I won’t be picking out any songs that I think are better than others, its just an ongoing smiling performance. Concluding with the almost silent notes of
“The Tower”. Enough praise, enjoy the show as much as I do. And let’s see what our friends got in their psychedelic backpack for Tyskland, Hollandia and other
countries where there’s no lonely Tzar close to his natural span of life. Let’s celebrate Europe and Freedom. Tusen Takk, Bent, Snah, Reine and Olaf. SB-

Oh shit!
From my heart all the love of the universe for a full recovery SNAH!
I was looking forward to the usual extended backstage chats here in Bielefeld, but health comes first.Yes, only one show over here in Tyskland, and it looks not good to see the band in between KADAVAR (nice…) and DYSE (acoustic air-pollution).
Still, the weekend for KRACH AM BACH is not yet covered…-
