I don’t think that kenneth is the better drummer.
his style is different to geb’s style, off course.
to this day I like geb’s style more, it was much more differentiating,
during kenneth play most of the times very fast, hard with a lot of energy .
like this too, sure but I loved this playful drumming from geb more.
maybe the reason is that my first real musiclove was the german krautrock band grobschnitt and their drummer played a little bit like geb.
for me bent’s words were a bit harsh against geb, but I was never in the band and can not say what happened between them.
otherwise I have to say that I love the “pop phase” .
love ltec and the totally underrated ialc ( a lot of great songs here like circles,
carousel, this otherness and the mirror and the lie…).
and specially the 2002 tour (spring & autumn) was just amazing.
and this wouldn’t never happen without geb.
this phase is one reason why motorpsycho is so recognized.
I read a review at the german rolling stone and they were very impressed that motorpsycho can do anything very good.
Quote:and it’s a matter of fact that Kenneth is the best musician motorpsycho has ever seen.do you really think so?
better as a musician at least as bent and snah?
for me not, both are pretty good on their main instruments and they also play a lot of others very good and they wrote a lot of fantastic tunes.
but motorpsycho has seen other great musicians so for me it’s impossible to say
who is the best. but you are right, I think , he is another great musician in the motorpsycho world.
my two cents.

Verkstedhallen, Trondheim
together with supersilent…
but I wouldn’t expect to much regular motorpsycho stuff
oh, only two day’s on the road, just back home,
looked here and than that!!!
thanks a lot
thanks a lot, great vids again.
Quote:Uberstooge or Superwagner ?!Quote:Just noticed that KOKA lists the Berlin gig next year as “20th anniversary tour” too – here.Which makes sense because MP played their first show in April 1990, so the 20th anniversary of the very moment when the band stepped out into the public for the very frst time is actually still ahead of us.
Alex
yes,
and the hopefully following 2011 tour is another part of the 20th anniversary tour,
cause lobotomizer was released 1991.
so it will be an extra long 20th anniversary tour.
maybe the longest birthday celebration tour ever.
thanks, thomas!
thanx for uploading it.
to all who have download it :
is here anyone who knows the first “cover” included in hogwash?
it’s just before hallejuwa
I always think I know it, but not sure what song it is.
and: nice review thomas, thanks
thanks a lot, vortex for you continuity afford.
that’s fantastic and I would love it to hear your recording.
but your recording is simply against the dime rules.
dime allows only uncompressed recordings on it.
so great if you find another way to spreadyour recording…
I like gebäude 9 very much.
it is a pure rock club in an old plant.
these are my favourite places.
I saw some other’s concerts there and all were very good.
sound was realy good, where I stood.
it was packed, yes. to packed? don’t think so, it was sold out.
where I stood was enough space to move, dance ( I don’t dance on mp concerts,
but some other people around me)and to stand comfortably.
I stood in the 8,9 row.
but the crowd nerved sometimes.
a bit to much talking and to much rude persons their.
but the concert was awesome.
looking forward to the gloria gig, too.
(and of course to the schlachthof gig)
thanx again for recording.
listen to it right now.
great sound !
so if here a little bird talking
this one talked me that close your eyes will be very short on the new album,
don’t expect something like they played 2002.
motorpsycho recorded all their shows for ages.
that’s why you will see at every gig the audiance mics on stage.
@chien:
yeah, a pity, well than we will meet us in dortmund.
yes great show, I agree.
it was my last on this tour, and I think the best that I saw.
it started very fantastic.
ss3 to inside looking out was awesome, what a manmowear
(written so on sanahs setlist ) version!
nice sidenote:
someone shouted:
kill some day
bent answered:
some other day
tonight there was a lot of highlights.
my special one’s were:
ss3, manmower, cornucopia, inside looking out (very long and totaly amazing!)
577, y.z.. diana, alchemyst & hogwash ( no idea about the first song inside, too)
a great end of a nice personaly tour.
have fun all others.
see you in may!
yes, off course, how could I forget it?
577 was another highlight
oh – and sinful-windborne, too, of course!
