      Something old but new: Nick Mason‘s Saucerful of Secrets Live at the Roundhouse. For everyone who loves early Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd. Released as music only on vinyl or as a 3-disc concert film.

      Thanks for the tip, Kid A – amazing concert! BTW it's also released on Blu-Ray.

      RYMDEN – The new super group of three major minds in European music history.

      The music of RYMDEN is based on 3 elements: melancholic & atmospheric songwriting, dramatically charged rhythms & virtuosity of jazz playing of the highest level.

      In this new band formation, the influences of modern jazz, Bach, film music and progressive rock music are clearly audible.

        >> I hope this is a prelude to them making it available on their Bandcamp page.

        Yes, it would be really awesome to finally hear "Child of the Future" in good quality.

                  >> Hey, they already promise a series of more albums to come!

                  I'm wondering, is there any news/rumors about the follow-up record(s) to the awesome "Invisible Airships"?

                  BTW new Jaga Jazzist's record is coming soon (August 7)!

                    Shaman Elephant is a Norwegian Psychedelic Prog Rock band.

                    Psychedelic, progressive, hard-hitting and melodic are all concepts that can be put into this crucible of a rock band.

                          >> … but Lore is still my fave. Where they went from "just-another-stoner-rock-band" to "WOAH THIS IS AMAZING"…

                          IMHO, that happened even earlier – on "Dead Roots Stirring" :).

                            Relatively new album by amazing instrumental/psychedelic/jam/fusion band from St.Petersburg (Russia).

                            Really good stuff! If you don't trust me, read some reviews on bandcamp page, or just press Play button there :).

                            Their Europian tour planned for this spring was (obviously) cancelled, so they come up with virtual tour idea and recorded 16 different sets (!) in the rehearsal room just before the lockdown.

                            Now these shows are released here almost on daily basis: https://theflowerpot.bandcamp.com/ – nice way to spend some quarantine time.

                            BTW, the guitarist in this band is also the leader of The Grand Astoria (band, that was mentioned on the previous page of this thread).

                              TV:

                              +1 to Twin Peaks: The Return;

                              The Expanse (Sci-Fi new hope, all 4 seasons are awesome!);

                              Chernobyl (heavy, but very very good);

                              Castle Rock (interesting mystery/thriller/horror anthology, inspired by works of Steven King);

                              Good Omens (brilliant adaptation of Terry Pratchett / Neil Gaiman 1990 novel).

                              Games:

                              Pathologic 2 (https://www.gog.com/game/pathologic_2) – remake/reimagination of cult sort-of-RPG/survival/name-your-genre game from 2005, made by small Russian studio Ice-Pick Lodge.

                              Disco Elysium (https://www.gog.com/game/disco_elysium) – amazing new RPG, highly praised by many gamers/journalists for its world, narrative, dialogs, etc.

                              Bioshock series – (not new, but in case if someone missed it) probably the best story, that was ever told in FPS/RPG genre.
