Good luck, good weather out there…see you soon.
Oh, btw…something MÖSTER is up on DIME…
August 2, 2017 at 15:04 #30223Just ordered my ticket for Botanique 29/10
Unfortunate I can't go to the Casino event few days early..else I would have done the double.
(Had a listen again to Golden Core which they played 'back in 2009…an amazing 16mins jam session) Botanique is always a magic place for Motorpsycho.
August 15, 2017 at 15:12 #30224Woohoooo..I've missed looking at that. Hannover on 11/11/17…bet you who's been there?
Tusen takk for the MP's for an almost Bielefeld Forum experience. But as BI, it's all up
with no barriers in front. I really like it like that. Starting HH and endingin H.
Hannover is a great choice and worth playing there, maybe the same enthusiastic crowd as in
48 BI…meeting friends, staying close to the venue…what more do I need?
A STARHAMSTER?
August 16, 2017 at 19:30 #30225Hi,

August 21, 2017 at 20:54 #30226@Vortex155 – I started hesitating now… Bought my ticket for Casino like 4 months ago and reading "Botanique is always a magic place for Motorpsych", it makes me want to buy another one for the Botanique show. Should I…?
August 22, 2017 at 10:07 #30227Saw them there some 20 years ago. The room is wide instead of deep, so that many people can stand close to the stage. And it's a beautiful venue.
August 30, 2017 at 16:30 #302282017-09-14 – Longyearbyen kulturhus, Svalbard – lokalstyre.no
Have they ever ventured this far north before?
Go Psychonauts! :STG:
August 30, 2017 at 20:59 #302298O just discovered that they play their first ever (??) Croatia show on 02.11., in Vintage Industrial Bar / Zagreb:
September 1, 2017 at 14:23 #30230Amazing that the band still tries out new territories (not only music wise).
@ ThorEgil: Motorpsycho played in Alta (three times) and several times in Tromsø but never in Svalbard or north of Alta or Tromsø. I wonder how many people will see Motorpsycho in Longyearbyen because there are only app. 2000 residents.
@ boomer: Yes, this will be their first ever Show in Croatia.
September 8, 2017 at 12:29 #30231Maybe the new guitarist/keyboard player is Tos?
September 13, 2017 at 13:26 #30232Longyearbyen cancelled:
We're sorry sorry sorry that we have to cancel our tour opening gig at Longyearbyen, Svalbard (Spitsbergen) this Thursday.
The norwegian pilots at SAS are striking, and in order to not get stuck at Svalbard and miss our hometown show on Saturday, we have – in agreement and cooperation with the local promoter – decided to not take the risk, so this show is cancelled. This is obviously a giant bummer for everyone, but we promise to honor this obligation and will come to Svalbard as soon as we can! Scouts honor!
September 14, 2017 at 12:16 #30233What a pity for the fans in Spitsbergen (how many fans live there?) but it is a wise decision.
What about a crowd funding for a private jet?
September 23, 2017 at 09:31 #302346/6 review from Hamar 21/9 (Pay to read):
September 24, 2017 at 10:28 #30235I just checked back with the official official site, when Bent asked for song requests to be rehearsed for the tour to come. I guess they must have had a look at what we 'nauts wrote there…well, at least some of the wishes showed up on recent setlists! eager to find out what else they have in store.
That whole thing reminded me of what Wilco pulled off a while ago, taking the song request concept to a new level. They basically included a tool into the gig section of their website, where one could select preferred songs (from their entire catalogue or at least a really vast selection) for EACH specific date of the tour!
Now that would be something! What is your take on this if I may ask?
September 24, 2017 at 13:15 #30236Maybe they are afraid that they will have to play the Golden Core every night! 😀
I remember that Bowie (around 1990) pretended to do something similar. Each city got 5 songs to choose, but he just assumed that people will always choose songs he'd play anyway. Where I lived back then, he didn't play the song that was chosen on place 3 of 5.
