Is there any noise on the LP this time, like there was on Neigh?
I bought another copy of Neigh to add to my new album. The reason is that the B-side of the LP I have was covered in noise.
Hopefully there will be no noise on the new album.

No there isn’t any noise on the vinyl, it plays absolutely perfect. But, so does my copy of Neigh.

while listening to it with headphones on I did notice some surface noise, but it’s ok…

Thanks to everyone for telling me about it. Fingers crossed I get a disc with a bit less noise, although it won’t arrive for a while yet because I ordered Neigh with it.

With the prices exploding all over Europe through the distribution channels I think MP should consider distributing via Stickman again. If Stickman are prepared to organise distribution – as they do for several other artists or single albums – the moral argument (only half the money for them) is not relevant any more imho. The present mode obviously only leads to immoral prices for fans – and discourages new customers.
Personally I rather wait for another few months and get the – hopefully black – vinyl then at the MP gig in my hometown.

Just consider this: all the money we pay for MP releases goes into MP pockets to pay the bills, feed the family and buy new toys to keep them going.
