May 7, 2025 at 22:54 #44389Fools Gold, Theme de Yoyo ❤️❤️❤️
May 7, 2025 at 23:05 #44390Theme de YoYo without Jaga Jazzists Horns is hard to imagine.
May 7, 2025 at 23:18 #44392I’d give it a chance! Bring on Tristano for Dresden! :D
May 7, 2025 at 23:22 #44393I hope there is any recording of theme de yo-yo. Quite astonishing setlist, very 2001 tour style
May 8, 2025 at 07:42 #44395Wow, that’s a setlist. Great build up, particularly the first half until the acoustic portion looks great…
May 9, 2025 at 01:09 #44405Theme de Yoyo was probably brought in as a tribute to the location and worked suprisingly fine without the horns – those being replaced by Reine’s keys and Snah’s guitar.
Snah concenctrated on rhythm guitar a lot in the first half hour and left much of the soloing to Reine. That began to change with August, though I’ve seen much jazzier, jammier and more extended versions of that song before.
Band on full course during Sonata & Dream Home at last.
Great psychedelic jams & keyboard swishes within The Tower – and a fantastic Fool’s Gold as encore.Quite a few newcomers in the audience. Location more a classic Jazz Vault (looked like a big vaulted wine cellar), low ceilings, but still spacious enough to contain the crowd (must guess – probably 300-400 people) – yet soundwise “bad for Rock music”, as Bent stated. Therefore no videos last night and not as loud as Cologne (in the first half). Fool’s Gold with Bent’s foot firmly on the Taurus pedal shook the walls though.
