think this is about right…
we thought maybe they would come back one more time, but it wasn’t to be. A really great gig in my opinion. All new material rocked, Cornucopia was really great, Ridin the tiger had a good jam’part. Kenneth played synth on Feel and bedroom eyes. I was in seventh heaven especially during Watersound. sounded great.
Bent was in a great mood the entire concert, the bass-sound was great. Kenneth was a wild beast during Alchemyst (that’s like his song now…). The ozzylot was great. Even Kill devil hills, felt really good (I’ve been a little sick of that one the past few concerts).
time: don’t have a clue: maybe 2 hours.
maybe 70 people there ? ? ? don’t know, really…
fellow psychonauts; – get in on this tour. I felt that anything could happen during the show. Perhaps the best gig I’ve been on…
“It feels so good to feel again…”
– looking foreward to Rockefeller, Oslo, tonight
October 14, 2009 at 10:42 #13789Thanks a lot for the report! Looking good!
October 14, 2009 at 10:43 #13790Kenneth played synth on Feel and Bedroom Eyes? Sounds as if they did try to “Gebify” him a little
Anyway, sounds like a cool concert. I really like the idea of Year Zero being the opener (instead of drowning in the middle)
How was Cornucopia? Long?
October 14, 2009 at 10:46 #13791Tussen Takk for the report and emotional details Seems like a good start, good to hear they were in a good mood and shape – Kenneth on Synth opens various possibilities
October 14, 2009 at 11:34 #13792ah lovely. i’m so looking forward to hear the new album live.
but only 70 people????? last time i witnessed that was in ’97 in geneva…
October 14, 2009 at 11:44 #13793really not sure how many people, but very few in the beginning. Yeah, they introduced him(Kenneth) and said he’d learned to play synth… barely. ..
Cornucopia, maybe a little longer than the album version. little cool jam session in there. worked great. can’t wait ’till tonight.   :finger:

Apparently, the gig was booked at short notice. And it wasn’t all that advertised. Besides, Hamar is a small town
When they played in America last year, they played for like 50 people in Columbus and Chicago.
October 14, 2009 at 11:48 #13795Posted wrong.
October 14, 2009 at 11:56 #13796yeah, the last time they were in Hamar, it wasn’t full either. Still, I got a Nice promo_poster off the wall. Child of the future inspired- with the words : “an evening with Motorpsycho live in concert. 20 years of excellence”. Funny, great poster, I’ll put in on my living room wall, for now…
October 14, 2009 at 12:01 #13797they also sold some merchandise at Hamar, a few t-shirts and bags only. … Maybe more at Rockefeller tonight. . .
October 14, 2009 at 12:19 #13798Very nice setlist. Looking forward to tonight. I remeber Kenneth saying that he’d never touch anything else than the drums. Bent and Snah have indeed managed to Gebify him Was Feel and Bedroom Eyes played on electric or accoustic instruments?
I’m crossing my fingers for Taifun on tonights setlist.
October 14, 2009 at 12:28 #13799They both were played electric, but worked great. groovy sound. yeah, lets hope for Taifun
October 15, 2009 at 10:23 #13800Two comments to Large:
– they played exactly 90 minutes, must be one of the shortest gigs (excluding festivals) ever?
– 70 people can’t be right, I would say the double is more correct, but nevertheless not crowded. When the gig started I think there could be around 40 people inside, very strange…
Rockefeller last night was a killer!

October 17, 2009 at 20:03 #13801you’re probably right, Leohnido. as I said I was not sure about the time. Perhaps there were more people there as the concert moved on. still a great, loud, intense show…
