April 28, 2024 at 18:29 #42745Wasn’t there – just posted the setlist. Shame – but Erfurt is waiting…
April 29, 2024 at 21:55 #42750Just back from Vienna. Yes, the setlist is correct so far, except for 3Spin was part of the Hogwash jam and Patterns is missing. That came after Tower, if I remember correctly. The band was in a very good mood, without their own backline they didn’t need 15 minutes to set up. Olaf took the longest tuning the drums. Psycholab is a blast live, much better than the single version, at least in my humble opinion. Dank State fast and electric, very nice. Daedalus with a spacey jam, also great. Towards the end, Bent discovered the volume controls and overwhelmed the PA, which was way too small.
Metastadt is a nice location in itself. The organisers were really motivated, but they still need some practice with the equipment. In the end, Motorpsycho was the only band with a halfway tolerable sound, the support acts were certainly good, but unfortunately the sound was not.

May 4, 2024 at 11:32 #42768So, anyone knows how long was the concert?
To me the setlist looks more like a continuation of the last tour than the singles concept they announced, do you think it’s going to be similar in Morbegno in a few weeks?May 4, 2024 at 12:29 #42769Definitively an “in between projects” setlist. With a bit from everything recent, but without the monster tracks. Good and solid, but not spectacular. Propably exactly what they’re after for – kind of a consolidation in a precarious phase of the band.
May 4, 2024 at 13:34 #42770Hej Darmok, according to the line-up they were scheduled to play for 1:30h, with encore they played about 1:45h. As “headliner” they started around 23:00, so that the audience was already dwindled and depleted. Long monster numbers were simply no longer an option I guess
May 4, 2024 at 21:31 #42771Thanks! For the next show in Italy they have the same time slot so I guess it’s gonna be similar, and I think that’s actually a pretty good set time for a festival appearence. I’m sure they’ll be back to the longer format (and longer songs) for the next “proper” tour, I still hope to catch NOX and Chariot sooner or later.
