TOTALLY FUCKING EXCITED! It’s possible that this one will be released before Xmas!

Keywords: Simple bassriffs, jazz-jamming in 11/13, space-opera(!), pretty loose, trying out new directions and solutions. One track is 18 mins long, another one 10 mins. Possibly a concept-album.

      Nice pic, too.

And here’s a Youtube-snippet from a new song they played at Roadburn:

        ooooooohyeah!

I’m so much more excited for this album than Child of the Future!

        I fear more Kenneth’s snik-metallifisering than I fear FRP’s snik-islamifisering!

oh my god, that is exciting news. I’ve read the dutch google translation (which is really funny but also quite a good invention, i can finally make something of articles like this) and it sure is interesting. Wow.

Funny that the whole article seems to be about that album and the proces of making it, and nothing on Child Of The Future. One would think this is the time to promote CotF.

Why? We don’t know much about CotF, other than there are 7 songs on the thing and it was recorded by Steve Albini.

I really like the idea of a space-opera, and long songs, and jazzy influences, i am drooling all over.

Hooooly shit! Sounds like Motorpsycho is fusing rock with canterbury prog and hawkwind. Yes please :D

Wohow, thanks Demon – great news!

Smells like some late autumn or early spring live performances, too if the guys are on fire with new tracks… there’s hope :-]

I might love it, but read somewhere that it’ll be a hard rocking album. I prefer them more psychedelic and experimental and less metal. The youtube clip otherdemon posted above, it might be the sound though, didn’t do anything for me. Not that I know it’ll appear on the album though…

Great news! Even though I am not so excited at the prospect of Motorpsycho going jazzier again. Didn’t we have enough of that already? IMHO: I am so glad they are rocking again, please leave it like that!

And… where’s the pre-order for Child of the Future already? I know the record itself is delayed, but does that mean the pre-order is also?

Ah well, just another case of me being impatient I guess.

                Greets,

                Thomas

ah, from that point of view i can understand your opinion on that. But judging new material from live vids isn’t the best thing imo, when i first heard LLM from the State X New Forms i wasn’t that excited, but LLM turned out fantastic, both on record as live.

i wouldn’t doubt too much. and it is really much too early to say something about child of the future.

                    stay cool.
