They played ok. Good defensive football and quick transitions. Considering they have a relatively ok rank on the FIFA ranking, they should have played better, and especially since Germany was one man down! They had a few big chances, and their goal was very nice, but aside from that, Germany was far the better team…
O YeA! 5 minutes of stoppage time?? Haha, I guess someone tried to avoid the scandal of Spain losing. Spain 0 points and Italy 1, while Netherlands and Germany both have 3! Things are looking good for us protestants.
pf, 1-0 over Nigeria wouldn’t qualify as impressive either, considering their squad.. I cheer for Netherlands, although i doubt they’ll make it that far. I guess Argentine and Spain have the strongest squads… but the way the Germans played the other day…. don’t know. I just hope that Italy lose!

Enig med de fleste her, er bÃ¥de bra og mindre bra sider med vokalen. Er kanskje litt ambisiøse med tonehøyden i blant… virker som om det er noe nytt, de sang ikke sÃ¥ høyt før i tiden, og om de gjorde det var det mest ooo-ing og åååå-ing og ikke lange krevende vokallinjer.
Skjønner ogsÃ¥ at folk vegrer seg for tanken om vokalist, som Onkel sier det hadde vært forferdelig Ã¥ fÃ¥tt in en sÃ¥nn smukk moderne vokalist a la Brandon Flowers eller Matthew Bellamy eller noe sÃ¥nn. Men det har da vært mange flinke og særegne vokalister opp gjennom Ã¥ra… prøver Ã¥ se for meg Sinful, Wind Borne med Neil Young pÃ¥ vokal, haha.
Jeg tenker også at vokalister som ikke er så veldig teknisk dyktige eller velklingende vanligvis finner en eller annen stil eller en karakteristikk som funker for musikken og forholder seg til det, er mange gode eksemple på det. Det har vel også med at de kjenner sine begrensninger. Men føler at begrensning ikke er et ord i MPs vokabular, så da får folk bare tåle at låter litt – på godt trøndersk – schtøkkt nå og da.
I’m going to travel to the other side of the world in 2 weeks. I can’t buy a record player here in Bergen, so I’ve dl’ed the album, and I’ll buy it before I leave. Everybody will be happy! I can enjoy the music both(!) on my vinyl player and on my ipod, and the money ends up in the right pockets! yay!
Ha! I will probably buy a record player and COTF eventually, but I will not hesitate to download it off the web if it becomes available, and it will eventually. They admitted that they found the frustration about this whole vinyl thing amusing… I’ll show those music snobs amusing! I’ve spent more money on MP than most people (although probably not more than people here), and every krone has been well spent. But quite frankly, if I hadn’t dl’ed their catalogue off the web, I wouldn’t have discovered the true awesomeness of the band, and that’s just how it is!
I just bought Roadworks 1, and I’m slowly replacing downloaded with bought, and I will eventually with COTF.Just put it out there.. you guys shouldn’t feel bad about it, you’ve supported the band economically and musically more than most. And besides, would you “fanboys” restrain yourself if it weren’t your favourite band from Trondheim, but just some other band? hm? hm?
