Just came back from Holland. The show was just pure bliss. Nothing to add. Just hope for a recording…

          thanks.

wow it was such a great show, and much much more intense than berlin. the “spaceship-factor” was very high. it seems to me that they try a lot of spaced out sound walls and quiet but very trippy parts. maybe it has something to do with their space-opera which they recorded earlier that year? really looking forward that, i love it, it takes me far out, even i did not smoke yesterday…

to me the hogwash and u lied part was great. perfect songs to rave the audience and let everybody sream for another encore. great.

sound: in the beginning it was hard to hear what snah does and i feared it will be again such a dull sound as berlin, but from sungravy (very very nice btw.!! thanks mp for that surprise) onwards it got better and better (and louder and louder, but i like it that way).

overall feeling was great and they are in such a spaced-out mood i can not find words to describe it.

          see you in haarlem.

it was the same what i experienced. i felt that the mood of the band wasn´t that good. but still enthusiastic at some parts, especially the quieter parts of some songs. very very intense parts like the beginning of cornucopia (which was my big favourite besides golden core that night). the middle part of llm was very spaced out too, very very intense. overall i would say that they suffered somehow from the dead of their friend and from the bad sound. the golden core was the perfect end and teardriving… see you in hamburg!!!

sorry for posting that much, but i must say that to me this album depends completely on my own mood. at the moment i am heavily blown away… very very heavy.

come on, it is too early. i had some listens and i must say it depended completely on my own mood. yesterday it was catching me a lot, today not that much. the sound grows on me, so i see no weakness in the mix, or the overall sound quality. the only thing i still have to get into is the singing…

Wow. I must be honest, yesterday I was not sure if I like it. But now, I get into it after the 3rd listen. yeah. great. And to be honest another time, it is especially “Mr. Victim”, and “Child of the Future” that I really really like. The melodies are constantly repeating in my mind. cool.

demon box – ken kesey (a collection of experiences, stories, and poetry, not an album, but a reference as i think)

the faster we go the rounder we get – grateful dead (from “anthem of the sun”)

on roadworks 1 part IV of K9 Suite is called “the rounder we go, the faster we get”

                                  and more… (nice thread btw.)
