Ah nice. I got the first album. I also highly recommend Greg Edwards’ former band Failure. There he worked with Ken Andrews, who himself played in Year of the Rabbit after their split.
he, if I wouldn’t know better, some snippets sounds a bit Nickelbackey. But of course they’re nothing like them.
Edwards, Andrews and Paul d’Amour (bassist in Tool on their first 2 albums) also made one album as The Replicants, on which they only played covers from songs by the Floyd, McCartney, Neil Young, Gary Numan, The Cars, TV Personalities, Syd Barrett and others. Extremely superb. And I consider Andrews as one of the best singers ever. Maynard J Keenan guest sings the McCartney track Silly Love Songs, though. If you find it, buy it.

I only ever listened to the edited Wheel once, way back when our record store actually had that CD version. I want that 8 minutes back! :lol:
Got it, yay! Listening to the unreleased Timmy version now. Quite the different beast it would have been. Very 90’s Very Aware is oh so true. Fun liner notes. Oh the memories.
So where do you non-Osloers staying? For affordable prices I only find hostels with dorms and reported flea bites on the internet… :x
I’ve got only a handful of fave shows I watch regularly. I guess I’d watch yours. It’s way above MTV “humour”.
Well made. Obvious professional standards. Great main character. My fave bits are the deal with Dennis and the community inspiration thing. I don’t know about the Australianess but clichés probably always work when done well and knowingly, but here we might miss some inside jokes.
Congrats to Spain. I was happy to see them win because they played football. I don’t know what to call what the Dutch were doing, but that wasn’t football. Rather unattractive, aggressive and rude behaviour. And bad losers in the end and during the ceremony. Especially Bommel, de Jong, Robben… shame on you!
