I was listening to The Tower album three times yesterday (had to drive around a lot) and thought why oh why did they drop ASFE from their live shows? What an amazing song! And isn't it written for stage? Their very own "Rock'n'Roll all Nite"? And back it is.
From your reports this one does sound like a huge biggie.
Even if it was The Crucible and not The Cuckoo, it's still nine songs different from the night before in Zürich. Should've made the trip there. 8O

edited first post, adding granny.
Mad Sun btw was quite different than the released versions. Slower, acoustic. Think that 5 song acoustic opening set they did 2014.
Two songs and five pages in, it's already worth it.
Now where are my scissors…?
The merch was fun to look at. While other bands set up a table, the MP merch is pretty much a proper shirt and vinyl store with shelves.
haha May Blitz, awesome.
Quote:New song (Reine sang it)you can't just put that here with no further explanations!?!
how was it? you sure it's a new song or maybe a cover of sorts?
bring on the triple necks then!
all I'd like to know is if it is an EP or a full length "proper" thingy.
Not really wishful thinking, just some thoughts. I don't have a live wishlist, I just want to eat cake. I also wasn't aware that this tour still runs under the Crucible moniker. So those thoughts are obsolete anyway.

I could imagine they won't be playing too much Tower/Crucible material since they did so extensively lately. Also probably not their most accessible songs (as in pop songs) either, because I think they'll still be on the widespreaded adventuring prog mode. So which big songs could return and be somewhat accessible? I'd think of:
STG
The Alchemyst
Sunship
Kill Some Day
Kill Devil Hills
Arnie H
Vortex Surfer
Kvaestor
HBM
Then again they're maybe (back) in Rrrrock mode with:
Whole Lotta Diana
Mr Victim
(various songs from Barracuda and COTF)
On A Plate
In Our Tree
The Ace
ASFE
Sinful Wind-borne
For Free
but aside from possible live songs, just lock them progfans in a room with The Death Defying Unicorn.
oh… ok… I probably have even watched it at some point. hard to keep track with all these clips.
