Vespero (Astrakhan, Russia) – Hollow Moon (2018)

Rule #1 is broken again, sorry (should we start a new thread called "Old music" ?), but I couldn't resist the temptation to mention these guys here – amazing instrumental space/psychedelic/prog/experimental/etc.-rock band!
Wow again! Motorpsycho should ask Punj to write a part of liner notes for (hopefully coming) "Trust Us" boxset .
Thank you, guys!
@pfnuesel, I saw them twice in Kyiv (in 2013 and 2015) – they are awesome!
In 2015 band played "Curse of the Ninth" from this album, but I prefer studio version, that has a lot of additional instrumentation – guys can't afford to travel with all musicians, who played grand piano, reeds and other stuff on it .
Usually there are 4 or 5 players (1 or 2 guitars, drums, bass & keyboards).
Unfortunately the lineup is very unstable.
As I said in the first post, they are currently on tour (Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Germany), so perhaps you'll be able to check them, if you live close enough to one of venues (see full list of dates/places on facebook).

I found a video from that gig in 2015, this composition is from their 2nd album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZX1VMf410wo
@supernaut, hope you'll like it; @pfnuesel, glad, you liked it .
BTW, the leader of this band, Kamille, is a fellow psychonaut himself.

Rule #1 is broken here, sorry – this band is currently touring Europe celebrating their 10th anniversary.
But the record is really awesome (rule #4) !
I've recalled this album after listening to "The Crucible" (the song), because it consists of only 2 songs, 20+ minutes each.
Crazy mix of psychedelia, prog, metal, doom with elements of reggae, jazz, funk and pure chaos.
Highly recommended to brave psychonauts.
Punj's posts about "The Crucible" are almost as good as the record itself – great pleasure to read.
And as for the album – I've already listened to it 7 or 8 times so far and can't stop myself from pressing the Play button again and again.
Amazing work!
Very nice interview, thank you!
It also has links to interviews about The Tower and HBM. Will read them as well.
+1 to Heron Oblivion (besides vocalist/drummer from Espers it contains members of awesome psychedelic-rock bands Comets on Fire and Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound).
King Buffalo (stoner/psychedelic trio for fans of Elder and All Them Witches): https://kingbuffalo.bandcamp.com/
Hidden Trails (new band of rhythm section from great prog/psychedelic Belgium band Hypnos 69 (one of my all time favorites)): https://hiddentrailsband.bandcamp.com
Church of the Cosmic Skull (very nice retro-hard/prog band): https://churchofthecosmicskull.bandcamp.com/
Hi everyone!
Long time reader, first time writer here .
I have a stupid question – how to navigate through "CAMP MOTORPSYCHO » GENERAL" topics in order to see older ones?
It's said, that there are 3,550 topics here, but I can't see magic buttons with page numbers below the screen, so the latest available topic (at the moment) is "Your band".
When I use "Search", then these buttons (like "1 2 3 … 30 Next »") are available, but then I need to know what to search .
This amazing Rockpalast video is now available on dimeadozen!
@Rolf: Stickman's CD version also has this misprint (text "[including Malibu and Stunt Road]" after "The Maypole", while it should be after "A Pacific Sonata").
No biggie, the main thing is that the album is amazing!
