For me Yay is ok, but nothing I am impressed by so far. The songs from yay were a lot better live (electric part), but Sentinals and Patterns were incredible at the concert. Sentinals slow and just just beautiful (even I had to shoot a video clip from the song). Patterns I am not sure was very different to the album version (in “structure”/length), but the sound to patterns live was stunning.
I just love Sunchild and usually I think MP do el. to acoustic great, but it was something the way it was played that made the song not that great that it deserves. It’s such a great melody to that song that didn’t came out in this version.
Spinx3 is for me a ok song, but it was a great version live. As sentinels slow and beautiful.
When the played Nerve Tattoo it was very cool, but it also shows that I (and most of the crowd) am getting. This song in its present made the floor rocks, but now it was just smiles.
And ending with two great songs from Trust us was just amazing and the highlight from the concert together with Sentinels and patterns.
Very happy I decided to go to Halden for this concert. I am listening to Yay for the 3rd time today and it gets better and better (it’s strange how you listen “different” to an album after you have heard the songs live(at least I do))
Do the vinyl comes with a cd copy or "mp3-code"?
[quoteI love how they show the era and put blissard in a context of how, when and why it endeded up being the final blissard[/quote]
that's what i love about this also.
Quote:though I wish someone at Rune Grammofon, Stickman or MP reads this because its such a drag and crappy way of doing stuffif someone of these people reads this i will say thank you.
Quote:a big opera and church doom vinyl and dvd extravaganza, bring it on, it should already be at the recordplant. If this Blissard sells good and they earn some money on this maybe they can release some of the stuff you want. For sure i guess i live album from the Opera will not sell too much records outside the "fan-circle". In every company/band it's good to have a "cash-cow" that can finance new "innovative" stuff. Remember that these people have a lot of expenses as a band and they have to earn some money to be around as a band.
how do I upload pictures in the forum ??
it's better to go for the real beer

this is a cool thing. I think i read in Beat or Rock Furore (old norwegian music magazines) that when they came back from Stckhlm they hated the mix or something so they had to go to a studio in Oslo or something and "remix" it. Anyone who know that story ?? Anyway i hope the original mix will be on the album to listen to how it was.
So when the sentrum scene concert is confirmed, what about the opera ??
"According to Bent Motorpsycho will play at the Opera (www.operaen.no) next easter. I guess they will play together with the same symphony orchestra which plays on the next record."

This is only about 2 weeks before easter. So does this mean there will be no Opera show ????
ps! if anyone has 1 or 2 tickets left to the wilco show in Oslo i am very interested…
I think it's strange that Motorpsycho have this policy. they make of course a lot of fans very happy with owning a special vinyl edt., but at the same time they hold back their live recordings for a lot of fans. It's strange that they don't sell this digital or something. In this way they could make some (moore) money on it and the people with the vinyl still will own something special ( or be able to sell it to a market price).
Before the Øyagig was announced last year it was a lot of different thoughts what was going to happen in Oslo 2010.

I wrote : "Finally the tax money pay back with an evening with motorpsycho with friends in the opera"
And Tonie's reply was : "From Svartlamon to the opera? When pigs can fly."
So do pigs fly ?? he-he- he
But for sure this is going to be awesome. It would be cool if everybody that buys the album that will be released later this year, will get a code to be able to buy ticket for the Opera show before everybody else. I think bands like Wilco have given "die-hard-fans" the possibility to buy ticket for a show before they were released to the public.
after listening to it once i must say it's some good stuff, especially A I L, but why can't they put a mp3 code or a cd when you order the vinyl ? i really like the bands/labels that put stuff like that in the vinyl package.
In an old interview from either Rock Furore or Beat (norwegian music magazines) Bent said that the had a 15 min long version of watersound. I have dreamed about that this version would be released and i really hope that this “dream” will come true
a new roadwork i guess or a 1 hour version of watersound
Finally the tax money pay back with an evening with motorpsycho with friends in the opera
I also have a problem with buying from mediamarkt.de . damn! i want to listen to this great album while driving to work tomorrow. do anyone know if the new album will be at spotify ?
I think it’s a shame that they don’t have a mp3 coupon in the vinyl edition. I feel that almost every album i buy these days comes with a mp3 coupon or a cd with the vinyl…
