Wow!!
I was going to make a comment like it must have been fantastic from Feel till the end…, but looking at the setlist, I see the mayhem must have gone further back to Plan, or maybe even Shrug…and then there’s Triggerman…and Starhammer, of course…
Fuck me, what a setlist!!
TGC…I was hoping for that in AB. It was so quiet. Would have been the perfect place for it.

A few comments:
The Zoom H2 has not got a very good recording level; there is no audible advantage of ever going below recording level 100 on that one (according to the experts). The recommendation for loud amplified music (live rock gigs) are:
– Low, rec level 100, rear stereo mics.
Raising the recording level in the H2 above 100 risks digital overloads unnecessarily. Lowering the level in the H2 below 100 will not prevent analog overloads – all you will do will be to reduce the level of the already-distorted audio.

Dime will never accept your mp3 version of the gig. You have it lossless on your zoom right now, which they will accept. It’s their rules. You don’t have to like it, just obey.
Otherwise they will kick you out again.
The same guy who filmed in Leuven a couple years ago filmed yesterday as well.
He will share if it’s of reasonable quality, he said.

All good intentions aside…I caved.
I think my exact words to Anders before the gig were: “I might have to run out during the final encore, can you grab my recorder if I do since we don’t want an incomplete GT?”
Then I freaked out when I saw how late it was (had a garage to catch before it closed) so I grabbed my recorder and ran, midway through GT, so now I have an incomplete GT…
Sometimes I’d like to have a look inside my head to see what’s in there…can’t be much. :roll:

I don’t know, this band is tighter than ever nowadays and keeps blowing me away. Round and round and round we go, always slightly faster…
They keep reconfirming that they are still my favorite liveband by far, and yesterday they added a bonus reconfirmation: There really is no cooler sound in the universe than the strummng of Bent’s strings in the the faster we get part of Un Chien.

Does anyone know how it works with the ticket reservations at Vera? I just reserved one and I am not sure what happens next? Bring the reservation e-mail to the door on the night of the concert? Is that all I need to do? Pay at the door?

All in all not a bad recording. A bit muddy, but no distortion.
Good for headphones.
