Two gigs in Poland between Berlin and Dresden:
https://de-de.facebook.com/MetalHammerPoland
2016-04-25 Warszawa
2016-04-26 Krakov
There are only three concerts announced so far and probably no concert is perfect for you and for the family:
2015-06-26 – 2015-06-28 Beuningen, Festival, Netherlands
2015-07-18 Sjottsfell, Norway
2015-07-30 – 2015-08-02 Burg Herzberg Festival, Germany
All the best for you and for your unborn baby!
According to Dampsaba (Motorpsycho's own database) "She Said, She Said" and "Goodbye" were never played live. "Will Power" was played live seven times:
– 1990-08-18 Oslo
– 1990-08-30 Trondheim
– 1990-10-19 Levanger
– 1990-11-07 Oslo
– 1991-03-03 Oslo
– 1991-05-25 Trondheim
– 1991-09-27 Trondheim
Were is the source that those three songs are "Demon Box"-outtakes? "Will Power" is older than the other "Demox Box"-tracks.
Great to have another re-issue with bonus tracks and even a bonus video. The video is only "bootleg quality" but the sound is better than expected and that is what counts for me.
It is interesting that some of the bonus songs are early versions of later to be released studio and live tracks (e. g. You Gave It All Away and The Sift/ Plan # 1 and Now It's Time To Skate).
The video shows that the Dampsaba database includes some minor mistakes. According to Dampsaba Motorpsycho played in Groningen 1993-09-19:
Home Of The Brave
Hogwash
Sheer Profoundity
Flesh Harrower
Feedtime
Giftland
Blueberry Daydream – acoustic –
Demon Box
The Golden Core
Nothing To Say
California Dreamin'
The One Who Went Away
Come On In – acoustic –
Blueberry Daydream was not played in an acoustic version. Come On In was not played at all but Mountain/Gold And Silver was performed instead. The show was more that two hours long (nearly 130 minutes) and was probably the longest show on this tour (mostly they played 90 minutes in those days).
December 15, 2014 at 07:39 in reply to: 13.12.2014 – Byscenen, Trondheim (NO) Yule special with Reine Fiske #27446Wow – exciting news (like every year)!
According to Dampsaba Tuesday Morning had only played three times before Saturday:
1992-09-03 Oslo
1992-10-03 Oslo
1993-02-27 Trondheim UFFA
According to Bent's words in the blog the recording equipment malfunctioned in Leipzig. No Roadwork recordings from Leipzig this time!? This is sad because the vibe was very good there. The Hell-Suite would have been a candidate for Roadworks V.
Probably on the Weekend!
My ears are still "ringing bells" (it was really loud) but it was really great!
All Is Loneliness was not played acoustically (Reine already played his electric guitar and Kenneth played the drums) but it is a good transition between the acoustic and electric set. I was delighted to hear four songs from "Trust Us" (my first Motorpsycho album). My personal longest Motorpsycho show (175 to 180 minutes) and probably the longest show from this tour so far.
For those you could not attend the concert (because of the train problems in West Germany): You missed something!
@ Dave:
If you are interested in sharing recordings (there are 350 available from the past and present) then please get in contact: juergenmaass68(at)aol.com
@ Tomcat: True – the last performance of "My Best Friend" was in Oslo on 2002-11-28 (and yesterday, of course)!
I have only checked the forthcoming German concerts:
May 21st: no support act mentioned on the website of the venue (Bremen, Schlachthof)
May 22nd: Grandloom will play support in Berlin (according to facebook)
May 23nd: no support in Bielefeld (Kadavar cancelled their gig)
June 8th: Kadavar will play support in Heidelberg
June 9th: no support act mentioned on the website of the venue (Düsseldorf Zakk)
June 10th: Grandloom will play support in Leipzig (according to facebook and http://www.conne-island.de)
Will we ever hear the song "Kang ding qinig ge" which they played in Chongqing?
Great that the band has it's own Website – otherwise we would not get the setlists.
@ madsunship: Akane, I hope you will enjoy the show in Beijing!
@ Coventry Boy: You forgot the gig in Haugesund on 04.04.2014
Dominoes was an early version of "Devil Dog".
I hope that the single will be sold on the tour in May/June!
