He is a member on dime and he shares his recordings there regularly.
I got an email from someone who recorded this show (but not the first one because it was his first Motorpsycho show ever). Let's wait for the recording and we will know which songs were played.
Every item was released on vinyl, see here:
http://motorpsycho.fix.no/musicbox/discography/
It is probably a futile progress to search for the "Demon Box" vinyl. Nearly everyone is searching for it, hardly anyone has it.
The seller stopped the auction yesterday. The last offer was 450 Euros.
Don't worry, guys. I remember that the last German date in Leipzig (June 7th 2010) was announced very shortly before the show. I think it will be the usual trip vom north to the south:
leaving Norway end of March
playing in Holland, Germany (only 1 or 2 shows), Belgium, France until mid of April
playing in Spain April 13th up to April 16th
playing in Switzerland, Italy and Austria and another German show (or two shows) and one gig in Denmark before returning to Norway in May 2011.
When will the studio sessions start? May can mean "May 1st" but "the end of May", too. There is still room for a tour which is not necessarily as long as in the past.
Quote:My question is: Does anyone know the title of the song in Gent 1994-05-14? Dampsaba does not list it.I have recently listened to the “Timothy’s Monster” box carefully and I discovered that the song which had not been identified so far was “Very 90’s, Very Aware”. It was probably the only time that Motorpsycho performed this song ever.
The full setlist in Gent 1994-05-14 was:
On The Toad Again
Home Of The Brave
Another Ugly Tune
Junior
On My Pillow
Hogwash
Feedtime
Very 90’s, Very Aware
Grindstone
The Golden Core

It is great to hear that you have a Motorpsycho recording of “Starless” (because I don’t have). If you want to share it then feel encouraged to do so!
All the best for your health!!!
Starless was played four times:
1996-09-26 Namsos
1996-09-30 Trondheim
1996-10-02 Sogndal
1997-03-22 Trondheim
The Trondheim show 1996-09-30 is believed to be partially recorded but Starless is probably not included on the incomplete recording. I don’t have the incomplete version, either. If anyone has then he can post more details about it, please!
Thanks for clearing this up! The riddle (“which song is the cover they played?”) has not been solved so far.
@ TOFKAD (TheOneFormerlyKnownAsDaniel):
Can you remember that Motorpsycho were joined on additional guitars for a cover version in the encore? Was the enocre “Into The Sun”?
Thanks for the report!!

So we are still far away from the 100 songs that Bent talked about!
Maybe Bent was talking about the songs which he, Snah and Kenneth have played since 2007 when Kenneth joined Motorpsycho. I looked through the setlists since 2007 and found out about 60 songs which this trio has performed between 2007 and 2009 but not in this year (so far). Those “missing songs” are:
Babylon
Back To Source
Bedroom Eyes
Before The Flood
Black To Comm
Blindfolded
Demon Box
Don’t Look Around
Drug Thing
Fairies Wear Boots
577
Flick Of The Wrist
For Free
Glow
Go To California
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl
Heartattack Mac
Hey, Jane
High Time
Hogwash
Hyena
In A Silent Way
In The Family
Inside Looking Out
I’ve Been Waiting For You
Kill Devil Hills
Landslide
Mantrick Muffin Stomp
Mountain Song
Mr. Victim
Neverland
No Evil
Nothing To Say
Now It’s Time To Skate
Psychonaut
Sancho Says
Serpentine
Sideway Spiral IV
Song For A Bro’
Sparks
Starmelt/Lovelight
Step Inside
Sungravy
Superstooge
The Ace
The Nerve Tattoo
The Ocean In Her Eye
The One Who Went Away
The Other Fool
The Witch
Tristano
Ãœberwagner
Upstairs/Downstairs
Vanishing Point
Watersound
Wharf Rat
Who Gave You Love
You Lose
Those songs can probably be added whenever they want to. I don’t wait for Neverland, The Nerve Tattoo and Go To California but every other song would delight me.
Are the records available in Prague and the Czech Republic? Probably not. That means that they are too small to play a concert in Prague. A concert in Prague would probably only attract 50 people (incl. some die-hards from other countries) and that is not enough.
Thanks for the setlist. You were lucky to hear three tour debuts (Triggerman, You Lied and The Golden Core). The band is really in a good mood!
Yes, we will not reach 100 different songs but you cannot expect 100 different songs in 18 shows (with 16 songs in each show). That means that they have to exchange 5 – 6 songs on each show (without any overlappings) which is not realistic at all (even not for Motorpsycho standards).
I am very pleased with the 41 different songs so far (after 11 concerts) and I hope that we will nearly touch the “50” mark.
Quote:“Giftland” was played in 1993, 1994 and ca. 10 times in spring 2002. The last performance was in Trondheim 1992-04-27 – apart from today!
Ahem, sure you don’t mean 2002-04-27? Because I remember hearing it in Oslo the day before
Correct! It was a typo.
