Indeed! Bent is a lyrical genious. I turned on a girlfriend of mine to MP, and she fell in love with Bent based only on his lyrics.
Anyway. Perhaps it could be linked to a decline of passion to some extent. You know….when you were younger, you’d stay up all night before the release of a movie, a cd or a book/magazine, all doped up on the expectations. As for later years, this childish passion takes a backseat for the seriousness of life itself. One simply can’t give that much of oneself anymore (“..you’ve run out of steam…”).
Luckily, the only vinyl release of COTF shows that the majority of us nauts still have that passion
Nobody should upload anything. Let’s do our part to keep this release from leaking to Piratebay! And for those unlucky souls not having heard it yet (including myself), you’ll get your chance. Just have faith!!
I think it’s cool that they decided to do it this way. But right now, i’m having a bit of trouble swallowing it. And think….now i’ve got the album, i’ve got a record player. The only thing standing in the way of 40 minutes of bliss, is a fucking small/big jack plug! Dammit! So close!!!
JTR: Hehe nobody’s wrong here. It was just a figure of speech. But that being said, i bought a copy today, and damn! I DON’T like the artwork at all. The front is ok, but all that stuff inside was rather dull and imo uninspired. So i really hope that the music is better then the cover!

I couldn’t wait, so i bought myself a copy today. I would also like getting a digitalized version, and i can provide a picture of me holding my album. But sadly, i doubt that anyone will provide a mp3 version anyway, so i guess i’ll just have to wait….Dang…so close!!

Damn nice review man! If i was drooling earlier, i’m spewing out waterfalls now! Aaah. I can’t wait!!! This all sounds so promising. And to think….this is just a aniversary release, and another one is already in the making! Man..These are indeed fine times to be a psychonaut!

By the way….which track is the one featured on the Slottsfjell video? That one sounds really cool!
Marcel: I might be way off here ,but i think that the whole “only vinyl” deal can be somewhat of a kick towards the whole “it’s free, so let’s just download it” ideology that’s taking place nowdAYS, and is slowly killing the music business. So (imo) to upload the vinyl for others to download, would be spitting on the whole point behind this release.
Perhaps i was out of line with the whole “grow a brain” comment. But it just pisses me off that some ppl don’t seem to understand what a devastating effect this has (and will continue to have) on the music indusrty! Keep cool, and enjoy it WHEN you can. And remember…..20 uears ago, this wasn’t even an issue. Let’s keep it that way shall we….
