That would be nice to see, esp. with the Slayer tour postponed. Was going to see them early december (for the first time in my life, go figure), now have to wait until March
Thanks for the suggestion. It gives a lot of hits on Google though, trying one now
Very nice videos, thanks. Unfortunately clipnabber seems to be down and keepvid does not want to save the stream…
Hopefully it’s a stream that can be ripped, just in case…
Thanks man, I really appreciate how fast you guys are getting this to us all
Heavy Metal Fruit… cool title. Wonder what it predicts about the content
I would just keep GC in… complete recording is more important imho.
Really don’t understand guys like this, ruining someone elses recording… what an ass.
A truly great show. Some startup problems, sound rather messy in the first few songs but it quickly got better. Really enjoyed these versions of Ocean and Uberwagner, but absolute bliss started with Sungravy (minus the guys behind me that just had to talk all the way through it). Great Taifun, Loneliness, Manmower, and the 2nd encore just made my day. Who would have thought to hear Golden core again, live….
They seemed in a really good mood, crowd was also very enthousiastic.
Rune, did you manage to tape it?
Now I’ll have to consider taking another long trip to Deventer…
Godspeed You is one of my favorite bands… East Hastings (an edited version) was also used on the soundtrack of 28 Days Later:

A great movie and the track fits the scene it goes with very well…
Argh! It is starting to look like I will not just have to go to Haarlem but Deventer as well… What a great setlist.
In case you want a second chance, Mogwai (pretty big these days) usually do an extensive tour of the US with each album. Happened in spring though. Also, it just so happens the other two (Twilight Sad, We were promised Jetpacks) are touring the US right now. Sadly the Californian shows were in september I read in an interview TS were sort of disappointed about being in the Unsigned bands tent (…).
And yes, I would also have loved to see MSP live. Great line-up altogether.
What did you see at T in the Park? Great line-up… lot of scottish bands I listen to a lot: Mogwai, Twilight Sad, We were promised jetpacks (their debut is certainly one of my favorites this year).
Sideway spiral works now, year zero is still/again broken?
I have not watched them so far, VLC gives me troubles and
Windows Media player does not recognize them (probably needs
some codec). Will try tomorrow on my normal media machine…
Thanks!
Thanks for the material! I also get “file not found” for year zero and spiral though.
Supernaut: still downloading here, but windows marks them as VLC media file so I assume VLC (Videolan, freeware) has the codecs to play it.
