This is a very interesting topic, as I kind of lost interest during those years. Live gigs continued being really good, but the albums received few spins from my side. Barracuda and Fishtank have had way more spins being from that era. And when Litte Lucid came out, it felt like they finally were back. But there it is, we emphasis and embrace different things.

Great gig, good mood and highlights were Sonata – Dream home – Neotzar. I must say, clocking in the main set at 2:35 is pretty intense. Mainly stuff from their latest releases proving to me that the Gullvåg material (pacific and dream Home in this case), is something different and really special out of all that later years material!

Maybe somewhat off-topic in this thread, but I notice Snah is doing quite a few gigs as Snah Solo this year in Norway. Is this based on the music he amongst did at Soddjazz last year for the Thor Sivertsen animation movie?

This reminds me why i was so damn sad when Tomas left. Delivered years of epic concerts, pushing the band beyond their limits and contributing to records that really stand out in their catalogue. Yes he is a bit to tight every now and than, but overall one of the greatest out there.

The gig at Moldejazz then means there is one ticket for MP, Hellbillies and Julie Bergan. Gonna be a great variousity in attendees as far as I can imagine. And who will be the last band on stage..?
