Maybe we not have the world's best main dishes, but Obazda is just great in between!
Germans do have great food:
We actually have this for breakfast sometimes…
One Augustiner is also a Schnitzel!
The money is paid for them but they are not worth it (when we talk about 4000NOK prices)… It's just somebody wants to make money (with people willing to pay for something that's said to be "cult" or "rare")…
It's ridiculous to pay that much money for some grams of vinyl with a few songs on it, whatever music or band or "collector's item" that is.
It's not worth more just because it's rare or old or whatever.
Think it's cool labels do repressings just because you can get your beloved music on vinyl if you didn't manage to do during the first pressing. It's not worth more or less – same material and same music – just another period of time!
Made a video of my Thailand trip, with music by Motorpsycho….
Nothing To Say has a big trumpet solo at this show and Black To Comm really rocks!
I always let it run in the summertime on a chilly sunday afternoon… Cool gig!
Sounds all great! Looking forward to eventually Esch zur Alzette or surely Oslo in November.
I don't mind either if there's a classical song structure or none at all as long as it's good and makes fun and you want to listen to it again.
Never been to Schlachthof but that must be a good place to play and watch concerts. Asymmetry actually is good for sound…
If a MP-gig is better than a soccer game? Depends on what you are fan of!
They can sing quite good in my opinion although I don't believe them any more not using auto-tune on vocals on the albums since the last Roadwork…
For me live it always seems they just don't put enough energy into the vocals, like it is very "exhausting" for them to sing (which it is if you care and want to do correctly). That's what I sometimes think is sad because they could make more out of it.
Maybe they just can do that in good mood or whatever. Like they are people that don't want or have to be in the spotlight, be a frontman from their natural character. Or tried to be but realized they just couldn't go for that. By singing in front of a crowd you show your personality, you give a part of your inside out. Behind the instrument you always can hide. In any way better than behind your vocals. Maybe that's also a reason why… Just a thought.
Come back from vacation, ticket in the mail! 17:00, first row, middle, cool!!
Thanks Tomcat for the info… Got ticket, Parkett, first row, right in the middle… for god's sake, how cool is that?!
I don't know if anyone knew but Bent has a MONSTER BASS going on on this record!
Got it a few days ago, had some spins…
What a great album. Not only that it is a fully inspired music fable and apart from the very well written orchestral part the three are playing at a peak level.
And a bass thunderstorm it is! So well produced, the orchestra sounds like perfect.
Without loosing rock n'roll ground the album takes you everywhere from loud to quiet, from groovy to loose (and space!), from small to grand. Beautiful melodies are there and you want to listen to them again and again.
A new masterpiece with nothing else then the trademark MP-stamp. So good they are present, up and running!
Hmm… looks like traveling again this time… Anyone knows anything about the rumour they play Duna Jam again?
The Melvins, so good.
