Second listen and I don’t think it is a bad album at all. Sure it’s a bunch of outtakes, but it’s more in line with the traditional MP than Yay!, which didn’t do much for me.
“Return to Sanity” is the only song I don’t click with, but many others are very good and could work well live.
If these songs were released on 2 EP in between Kingdom of Oblivion and Ancient Astronaut, that would have been very cool as well.
That random date in Gothenburg makes me hope for a date in Stockholm, or even better somewhere in Finland.
I can be happy with an album of weird noisy outtakes.
“Yay!” didn’t do much for me but I remember being somehow disappointed by “Phanerothyme” back in the day, and it’s an album I go back to the most. Can’t wait for the dates in Finland to drop.

This is excellent
Same with Spindizzy, which is in Ireland and has cheap shipping. They also have Yay! special edition on sale.
It’s a great record store.EDIT
Spindizzy sold out everything.-

A kind friend in the UK scored me a copy. Looking forward to receiving it, the layout and visuals look kind of cool.
Just seeing this now. This is kinda sad in some ways, as Stickman has been such an important part of the Motorpsycho experience.
Unfortunately the only one they have is sold out. Looking for this specific one and the crucible tour one in particular.
@pfft I understand the idea but kind of disagree. A test pressing would be an official MP release but not the official release of the same test pressing?
The Chronicles of Father Robin is a side project from the guys of Samuel Jackon 5 and Wobbler.
They have 3 LP coming out this year, the second released today. For anyone digging the folk and prog sides of Motorpsycho, you might like this.fatherrobin.bandcamp.com/track/ocean-traveller

Kinda dumb question : why is the Motorpsycho 7″ not listed as an MP release on Discogs? I get the idea that it’s part of the tribute series, but still, it’s kind of hidden for any MP collector.
Arrived at the customs (Finland) with an extra 29€ to pay.
