TraktorBass.
So this is @Neil Tesor on guitar, myself on bass and a non-forum (!) member on drums.
The band has its roots on the forum. Neil Tesor and I met after a Motorpsycho tribute/jam session a bunch of years back..

@paolinogrande001: You can have mine if you want, for 350.
I unfortunately cannot attend due to sickness.
Update: I just looked at the setlist from yesterday, and decided to push through and go anyway. Sorry, Paolino.

Finally. My copy is all scratchy and hissy by now, been looking for a fresh one for years, waiting for the landslide.
Awesome.
When it arrives I might get some weed and chill out to Pink Flo-, err, Motorpsycho.
Works for me 👍
Its just a box of rain.
Relisten is another cool platform for live recordings. Even comes in app form, so you can stream.
My stats:
Concerts visited: 31 since 2006
Locations: 23 x Oslo (Rockefeller, Sentrum Scene, Domkirken, Operaen, Teknisk Museum, Øyafestivalen, Røverstaden, Blitz), various other norwegian cities including a few times in Trondheim.
Different songs played: 173 unique, 431 total
Song played most often: KDH, Walking on the Water, No Evil, Sail On and STG
Song anticipated most: Tough call, but probably K9. These days though, anything pre 2012 would be very welcome..
Specials:
– The first times seeing the band in 2006. Four times that year. The Øya gig I have fond memories of.
– The time an icelandic volcano stopped me from seeing the band in Bergen. Received news of the cancellation on the train halfway between Oslo and Bergen. So I went to Bergen anyway.
– Timothys Monster at Øya 2010.
– Blitz, standing in front of Bents rack. That sound..
– Proto-‘Here Be Monsters’ at Teknisk Museum.
– Sentrum Scene 2019. Absolutely incredible, crystal clear sound in the venue. Especially after seeing them in Hamar the day before where the sound was a woolly wall of noise.
Being norwegian, I have seen my fair share of one-off gigs and rarities, but I am envious of you guys living in Europe proper. Following the band around for a few weeks is a long standing dream of mine, but it cannot be done in Norway. Too few gigs. Every year I half assedly plan doing it next year, but life always finds a way to rockblock me.
@Blashyrk: Created account Traktorbassen yesterday. No confirmation email received.

So Reine is now doing Motorpsycho reaction videos?
The reaction video forest is a dark and depressing place full of attention/view seeking fakers, but there are also some genuine music lovers out there.

Interesting release. Been a few years since the first tribute record, and the featured artists are bigger ones this time around.
I am very happy the Blitz gigs happened in the vacuum between Delta and Omikron.. Timing was on point.
The writing style gives me some Natt&Dag vibes. So edgy.
Anyway, is it just that one page?
@suntripper: Yea, he gets pretty close. No idea about the cymbals.
@supernaut: I might have gotten my hands on the wrong Ricks then.
Had a Thunderbird myself years ago. My first bass. Never knew back then, but what a terrible fit for me and my tiny fingers that bass was. Neck like a tree trunk, with a dive of course. Huge chunky body. I stick to short scales these days.
Would love to try those Stavem basses. A least one of them is a medium scale if I remember correctly, so probably easier to handle. And those bisonics are amazing sounding pickups.
Surprising to see covers! Some of those guys are nailing it too. Lakland guy wailing those chords on Starmelt/Lovelight (fingerstyle even!) and Neverland guy is spot on. Cool.
