Well, indeed, this left me almost speechless…
I'm not too deep into their personal relationships each other, but if he wanted to go
further on up the road, it was the best moment to do. Motorpsycho played a fantastic tour
and I was lucky to see them at least three times with that climax in Oldenburg.
Grateful thanks to Kenneth pushing the core up beyond limits. Tusen takk!
I will see Spidergawd on friday at Freak Valley Festival. But I won't ask him about that.
About a replacement on psychonautic journeys…let them eat cake and decide what to do.
I guess they'll come up with a solution or another mindblowing "drum animal" on their own.
Most likely somebody you'll nevver heard of before…and from Norge, of course…
@ KENNETH: DANKE DANKE DANKE DANKE DANKE DANKE DANKE DANKE DANKE…
Oh well…all fired up in Oldenburg? Think my friends from Norway did right for their
terrible car travel at holidaze in Tyskland. When we drove back south from Oldenburg
yesterday noon all the road north was just a long packed trafficjam…horrorshow!
No surprises here, yes I guess another great 'Stooge, but another closing sequence I'm
really tired of (not the new one). But in review a great tour. And I got my "YZ" in OS.
Tusen takk to the ViKINGS of sound.
Hmmm…what did they do to I.M.S.? More than 11 minutes! Woah! Pure jamming fun!
Well, I've got almost nothing to add to GreatKingRat's report, except for that it was really
fucking hot in the front row. The FLICK was massive into a spaced out ALCHEMYST…Psychrock
at its very best. Spin3 was without the usual "Sleep again" outro. Anyway, if there was one
downer for me it was the overplayed Jr->Feedtime sequence. I was hoping they'd go from Jr.
into Nothing to say, which would've been the icing on this tasty cake of show. Or probably a
great Year Zero for a spaced ending? But the encore swirled audience and band into a
maelstrom of space! Tusen takk, ViKINGS of music. All worth every second.
And listening to the tape (ups!) is real fun.
@ Arturo
sure no hassle, never. I've struggled with posting the "Biddie" version of this show as it
had a significant smaller size compared to other postings. I was told that he "mixed" it
before sending to me. Maybe that was the reason. Anyway, great work, "Biddie", it's really
crystal clean, but mostly it's more BENTBASSBOOM in it. And I really like it upfront when
my head is almost exploding and the deepfeeling sets in.
Hope you guys sold your tickets well…
I'm exceptionally thrilled to hear that some nice vikings will do the trip to Oldenburg.
Tusen takk for doin' it (you know yourself) and a grand "welcome back" to my taping twin.
Wie immer…herzlich willkommen!
This seems like a real LONG show…wonder if it was another Hellhogjam…but just
look at all those extended tracks…BBD, Lacuna, Flick, Hell, Arne and HBM…woah!
Gets me thinking they start in Oldenburg at 16:00 until midnight…hmmmm???
And yes, I'm in for Nothing to say, though…you know…I'm missing my beloved Starhamster!
@ Arturo: please, no (Arne) Hassles about taping. Be happy with what you get.
Especially @ a Motorpsycho Konzert it's a real physical challenge doin' it for three hours straight.
And sometimes get "hassled" by a drunken asshole from the back.
Every source is welcome to me and at least us german (and one norwegian) taper know each other.
There's no kind of "competition" most likely a big hug or grateful greeting when we meet.
For me it's the music, the "sphere" and MEETING FRIENDS.
So I wonder what the italian tapers have to offer…
…and ENTROPY was a regular on the setlist last year…as before with Reine in 2013…
somehow I think a few of the "new" tracks developed from that kind of feeling…
Yes, this setlist looks really impressive. Really "Through the veil" in between the routine
of Jr->Feedtime? Ok, the madness of BBD->Unchain the space started already in Wiesbaden the
day before, but also my beloved Cloudwalker into Superstooge. Blueberry seems unreal though
you'll never know what to expect or what you get from the Trondheim Boys.
Hope they have as good weather in Bella Italia as we have over here now. 25+ sunshine…
For my recordings and from my friends…get'em up at motortrades…don't ask for any
permission. I'm so happy that I can share the best possible recording (no videos!) and
grateful to the band being taperfriendly. Not a common thing in times of pure captalism
ruling the world. As I said in another comment: Tusen takk to the band. They do it, not us.
We're a part of the magic and wonder that happens, more or less. It's them to create…
Seems like those there had a real good time. Great to read that it was a packed venue.
I'm still wondering why they do those small venues outside Tyskland…Holidaze in May?
Well…setlist looks LECKER. Hope at least one taper was there to let us still hungry
psychonauts do the experience of that fine performance again (or first time).
Tusen takk to my favourite band on this planet. You almost scrached on the throne of…GD.
Support act means usually LESS PSYCHONAUTS PLAYING TIME… But probably a breather before
it'll get serious in ITALIA…
No "Jig is up" start? I'm a bit curious about that.
HBM # 1 is "Sleepwalking->Lacuna/Sunrise->RunningWithScissors->IMS->Spin->Sleep again"
I wonder what they put up at Dornroosje tomorrow…still no Starhamster…with all those
Mellotrons on stage…I wonder…maybe they'll save it…for Oldenburg???
We'll see (hear) what those tapers did…ahem…sounds really impressive…
