A couple of recommended Balthazar episodes ( it’s 59 of them! )
Season 2,ep 9 ( aliens stealing dolls hair! )
Season 2,ep 3 ( the town is visited by a scary gang )And it goes on and on, they sure don’t make children’s tv like that anymore…
Post your favorites!
Check out the animated series of Balthazar on YouTube! It is the most trippy children’s tv show that all of Bent and Snahs generation grew up on. I have been playing the tv-show all week while listening to Motorpsycho-it goes togheter REALLY well!:) And my guess is that one episode probably will be used for the visuals on the upcoming tour ( if there are no problems with copyrights etc..) Would be really cool. If you listen to the crazy Balthazar song in the show you will also recognize some of the music in the Motorpsycho song!:) Its their thank you for making my childhood a little better and crazier…
Neotzar intro makes me think of Portishead for some
reason…This

Not sure how the reviewers can slam a 6/10 on such dense, lenghty and complex piece of music in such a short time. After listening to MP for almost 30 years, it will take me at least two weeks to fully wrap my head around this properly and consider ranking it in the MP catalogue. I remember hating Phanerothyme with passion when it came out, and it’s one of their albums I go back to the most.Let’s all rejoice a new album is out, and a tour is coming soon. It’s a great day and a great year to be a Motorpsycho fan.”

“Her kan «Balthazaar», «Three Frightened Monkeys» og «Netzar (The Second Coming)» nevnes som de soleklart største høydepunktene på albumet, hvor sistnevnte byr på over 20 minutter med ko-ko-prog i sin mest insisterende form, mer i retning av bandets nyere utgivelser, spesifikt den såkalte «Gullvåg»-trilogien.”
Ko-ko prog i sin mest insisterende form:) Love it!
Gotta play this one loud!
Love it!
Have only been listening up to Balthazaar, saving the rest.Saving Neotzar.
But now Three Frightened Monkeys ( the least memorable track according to Musikknyheter!!!Whaaaat!?!)-really digging it! Wanna dance and scream!:)Wow! Great!!!!!!!!!
Here you go, in Oslo they played:
-Intro: Knuckles to the ground ( not live but over the speakers )
-Liquid fumes
-Tearatorn
-Dreaming Xaxado
-Bandha
-The bonfire, The sun
-Organ of bodies II
-Torsional pendulum
-Journey
-Atmospheric entry
-extra: Waistful tendesitiesIt was fantastic!:)
Didn’t know what to expect, but this was a great gig! I brought my 17 old daughter for her first Motorpsycho concert and she liked it!:) We both bought the ” I var der ” t-shirts ( a great idea! ).Great set-list ( Lacuna and my favorite Manmower was superb ) Bent received a price before the concert from the ” ordfører ” and someone shouted ” Ut med politikerene! ” ( out with the politicians ! ) with was funny, but Bent seemed happy and humble. So happy I took the trip, thank you Mototpsycho!
The Møster concert last night was insane. So,so good.Makes me miss Kenneth…

Love it!!!
+ Thanks a million Bernie!
Yes, that Chariot is fantastic! But we need some great live footage of Lady May, At Empires End, Lacuna and Arnie H!
And given the current state of the world maybe we can expect The Crucible? Or maybe its just to dark a place to visit… -
