So thank you once again!Wow! Fellow deadhead, fellow psychonaut & probably THE most important coordinator & DIME uploader of all those MP live recordings (beside Jürgen, of course). Missed to meet him in person a few times, but was in contact via mail from time to time. You will be missed! Say hello to Jerry & Lemmy.

Btw.: Would be helpful if those Dime uploaders could send him the music directly. My dime ration is slowly going down, as the upload function is well – defunct – for me (browser or security issues, I guess).
Any other Dime customers: feel free to do the same or please upload your treasures directly to archive.org – in the end it is the only download space sanctioned by the band themselfves.Probably a permanent two-drummer-solution? Or a three-drummer-King Crimson line-up? Just joking – all’s good as long as they don’t employ an Arthur Brown/Kingdom Come-Style primitive drum machine. They came pretty close on N.O.X. though ;-)
I remember Close Your Eyes as probably the ultimate high point of Motorpsycho’s Unicorn gig at Stollwerck Cologne 2012. While the actual Unicorn went a bit under (no breaks between numbers, lacking in dynamic variability, not the best sound, packed hall, stuff still new and thus low recognisability), the encores did it for me. While I couldn’t first identify CYE, it wound its way perfectly through my ears down to my solar plexus. An excellent live number to end any MP set.
New people in key positions? For me that sounds obvious – a full blown hammond organ player, a mellotron muso and a jazz pianist each, added in typical Motorpsychodelic modesty ;-)
Or do they – after all these years – even consider some kind of fulltime lead singer? Hope not…@ Blashyrkh: Thanks a lot for your efforts! Finally somebody to relieve Pietro Alfe from stocking up the MP Archive (mostly) all alone!
@ all: Was about to post this for a while, but didn’t because I didn’t get around myself to uploading anythin on archive.org. Nevertheless I think we shouldn’t leave all the work to one or two persons alone and join in upoloading.
The 2025 tour is now well documented, but lots of older stuff remain either hidden and now unreachable as dead torrents on DIME and Motortrades or on various hard discs. I do not want to pester these two or three main suppliers for the torrent sites to undergo the Archive upload procedure, but maybe they could make their vast collection accessable to a few ready for that task. Who’s in for it? Pietro already does a lot of work, but we could do with another two or three people regularly (once a week?) uploading stuff, now that touring’s long over and winter is coming in. Volunteers?For me the whole Epstein thing is just another, albeit big, ugly affair of abuse (of power, money etc.). As such as bad as it can get – but I also think it serves as kind of lightning rod for several others and maybe much more important developments endangering our life and freedom, that people are subconsciouly aware of but do not adress clearly for several realsons. But I won’t get deeper into this, as this is probably not the space for such discussions. Shouldn’t have started the sufject in the first place…
How disgusting the whole Epstein thing may be – I can’t quite see the relevance of the affair, if you compare the few hundred or thousand victims, regrettable as they are, to the collective climate suicide/mass murder/destruction of living environment that is on the agenda of those oil companys and states behind Trump and his stubborn policy. Not to mention a whole immigrant population living in fear of being forcefully split from their family, relatives, homes.
