The Other One by Grateful Dead, perhaps? They've done that one before, right?
That's what we call "eskimorulle" in Norwegian.
Oh, man. Call MP and put them in the back, do a one-off acoustic gig (on my porch in the summer, thank you very much) and make it Roadwork 5!
You're not alone, TraktorBass.
I voted 8 Soothing Songs For Rut on 3rd place in the Øya poll. Imagine MP stretching that one out for two hours, including We All Float Down Here (Too). I'd love to see how they'd pull that off!
Supernaut: It's probably Big Surprise you're thinking of, that one used to have Bent on acoustic guitar and Snah on bass.
Come to think of it, though, it looks just like the back covers of Mountain EP and Another Ugly EP.
Maybe they've finally discovered the internet.
Edit: I got the wrong date. It's a festival, in September.
Splitters unite.
That would’ve been great, but I’m afraid you’re mixing up Watersound with Giftland. I guess this must be the interview you’re talking about, vorsla.
@chien: It’s mentioned at the bottom of this page. They recorded a bunch of songs for an album at the Art Academy in Trondheim, all sessions during nighttime afaik (check band commentary on Mad Sun and/or Watersound on the Hair Cuts DVD). Then they ditched the whole thing, and some of the recordings were later released as B-sides.
Edit: Oh, and that Giftland thing is a different take. It’s a rather loose jam, isn’t it?
Isn’t it time to speculate on what songs we can expect to be included in the boxset? On The Toad Again is a safe bet as it was intended for the album, as well as Space Cadet Boogie and Seethe. I think Lake Innersfree by Sir Lord Baltimore was recorded at the Timmy sessions, too, but will they include cover songs? Then we’d probably also have Workin’ For MCA (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Shock Me (Kiss). Hmm. And what about the remaining songs from the “lost album” from ’94, do they count? When the World Sleeps, Black W’abbit (Alabama Kids) and early versions of Stalemate, 7th Dream and Flick of the Wrist, I’d sure like to hear them all.
Adding to Fillmore’s Fun Facts, here‘s a couple of more stage incidents (nice pic of Bent(e), yeah?). Loose translations:
4. During an early Motorpsycho gig, Bent the animal smashed his guitar on Snah’s head so hard it made blood and gore pour out. Tough guy Snah keeped on playing, needing no stitches.
17. Bent smashed his guitar to pieces during a gig at the TMV Festival in ’91. Later on, he blamed it on all the aggression he’d build up inside.

Found it on the Stickweb. So there’s the title of the A-side.
You’ve got mail, allanoiz.
