Hmm, should have gone to Bielefeld as well!November 4, 2009 at 23:07 in reply to: Tour Stats – Fall 2009 #14288
Yeah, technically you are right, but they have recorded that song on a record, so I counted in in there!November 4, 2009 at 13:26 in reply to: Tour Stats – Fall 2009 #14286

Good show indeed! Nice audience, apart from the prick behind be who talked on his mobile phone during Sungravy! What a f***er!
Some things bugged me though. Alex describes very well how they deconstruct the songs nowadays and I don’t know if I really like that. Yesterday Snah’s noodeling sometimes was a bit too much for me – and usually I like guitar noodeling. Taking all the drive out of Songs like Hogwash and Diana (which started really groovey and hot. Really god!) doesn’t please me. If they do it on 1 or 2 Songs ok, but yesterday it was just a bit too much for me.
Second thing: Kenneth is really an animal and I like his playing a lot on most of the songs, but for example during Kill Some Day, he plays loads and loads of fills and stuff that just doesn’t belong there. I think sometimes less is more.
(Anybody remember the old Amadeus movie by Milos Forman, where Mozart asks the Kaizer if he liked his opera and the Kaizer answers something like “Well yes, but I think there are too many notes!”)
Oh and I think Kill Devil Hills should get a rest – it’s becoming the new Go To California for me!
That’s all whining on a very high level, I knowNovember 4, 2009 at 13:04 in reply to: New T-Shirt on 20th years tour #13894
I must say all the Shirts did not appeal to me very much at yesterday’s gig. I liked the Hoodies!November 2, 2009 at 09:40 in reply to: Berlin 01.11.2009 #14247
Sounds good! Kill Some Day – Wohooo!
One more day for me till Hamburg. Tonight I’ll pray they keep TGC in the set for tomorrow!
Was the show taped? Alex?
I guess, I see a lot of you tomorrow in the crowd.
One more question: When did they start playing? Any opening act?November 1, 2009 at 14:04 in reply to: Tour Stats – Fall 2009 #14285
Amazing variety of songs! Looks like Kenneth does know most of the back catalog by now. It’s really an anniversary tour!
During the last tour they played 47 different songs in total. Now already 34.
I just hope The Golden Core gets back on the setlists.November 1, 2009 at 13:23 in reply to: The 20th Anniversary Tour #12515
Any news from Malmo yet?November 1, 2009 at 12:23 in reply to: Gothenburg (Sticky fingers), 30.10.2009 #14355Quote:I think the subforums are just filters, every post made to every subforum will show up here.
No, I don’t think, that’s true. It seems like it, because the list of recent topics is ridcoulously long. Underneath are the subforums and I still think that the setlists should be in the setlist forum, because they will get somewhat lost in the General forum over the time.
Personally I like to look up older setlists from time to time (it’s a shame that Dampbasa is not maintained any longer!)October 31, 2009 at 12:20 in reply to: Gothenburg (Sticky fingers), 30.10.2009 #14352
Why is there a “Setlist” forum when everything gets posted here?
Hmmm, the Norway setlists were more to my liking. Where has The Golden Core gone?October 30, 2009 at 16:25 in reply to: Motorpsycho shows in Sweden in October #13762
Hello guys, we need a setlist!October 29, 2009 at 16:57 in reply to: MOTORPSYCHO TOUR – MAY 2010 #14362
Bremen – Schlachthof, now that’s good news! They always play killer shows here in Bremen!October 26, 2009 at 15:50 in reply to: angels and demons at play: motorpsycho tribute #13920
Just stayed in the beautiful city of Bologna two weeks ago to learn Italian. Would love to be there. (I saw Built to Spill last year at the Locomotive – that was great!)October 19, 2009 at 13:25 in reply to: The 20th Anniversary Tour #12489
