sorry to hear that rune. to me it is very different. i am really into the album and enjoy every second of it. the songs are really stuck in my head… hope you will get closer to it when you see them performing it live.
yeah, have fun. i am really excited about hearing what will be played the next shows…
@ pfnuesel: i will be in cologne, bremen and leipzig. have even space in the car for 3 more people between these 3 shows if needed.
you got a mail. puhh….
yeah. that`s the best!!
)) but maybe they choose "shoretex surfer" instead?
finally have the album. i'm completely blown away from beginning to the end. massive…
on plattentests.de it is record of the week: http://plattentests.de/rezi.php?show=9117
have to wait another 2 weeks until my first listen, as i am still travelling asia at the moment. as i read the reviews, i am getting more and more excited now.
btw: the walter moers reference as mentioned is really funny to me. I love his books (the later the better) very much, and if the album goes as far as that stories…. man, really can' t wait.
wish you all good and intense times with the album.
wow, i really can't wait. travelling at the moment i'll have to wait until end of february, but thats alright. i am so excited…
yes, like it too. sounds very promising
just found that entry on stickfrau's twitter account: On the upcoming MP album: "If I believed in God, this would be what he listened to in the mornings when jogging" – C. Sandkämper, journalist
I would say "Kafka on the shore", but another really great (but not typical book for him) is "Afterdark". I like that one most. The "Hardboiled Wonderland…" may be hard to get into, but it is really worth reading.
yes
Oh that would be interesting if there was a connection. I remember Bent singing "guide me through the winter" in 1 new song, which could speak for that. a lot of the unicorns die in winter and the main character suffers a lot from winter, disconnected from his shadow… but maybe that's completely wrong and there is no connection at all.
I am really looking forward that release.
by the way, i am reading a nice book at the moment (just by coincidence): haruki murakami "Hard-Boiled Wonderland And The End Of The World", where unicorns play an important role and it is somehow about death defying too…
should be out february 6: http://www.konkurrent.nl/
