yes
Oh that would be interesting if there was a connection. I remember Bent singing "guide me through the winter" in 1 new song, which could speak for that. a lot of the unicorns die in winter and the main character suffers a lot from winter, disconnected from his shadow… but maybe that's completely wrong and there is no connection at all.
I am really looking forward that release.
by the way, i am reading a nice book at the moment (just by coincidence): haruki murakami "Hard-Boiled Wonderland And The End Of The World", where unicorns play an important role and it is somehow about death defying too…
should be out february 6: http://www.konkurrent.nl/
thanks alex.
i think i will go to zappanale for the 1 day, as i remember they sell daily passes as well. friends of mine from discorporate records had a stage there in the last years. not sure if they do it again in 2012, but that would be worth checking out too. and zappa of course…
where is the information of the album title from?
great!! conne island again. i was hoping for beatpol dresden, but conne island is alright…

nearly the same for me. but i think the version of "whole lotta diana" is outstanding great. comes somehow close to the version played in hannover. long silent part and very nice buildup to the end.
side 1 is ok, i would describe it with the same words as TvdR. All in all a nice gift of MP to Effenaar and their audience.

for effenaar i do not know, but the next 3 shows had brilliant sound quality.
yes, another great show. for me one highlight was again the new song, wich builds up to the end in a very strange rhytmical way. unbelievable. very good.
iron horse was a highlight for sure too. kenneth singing lemmy…
– "Halleluwah" inside "Hogwash"? NO
– "The Wheel" inside "Starhammer"? NO
– "The Other One" REALLY inside "Alchemyst" (and not in "Cornucopia")? IN CORNUCOPIA
– encore break between "Alchemyst" and "Vortex Surfer"? Good question;: They went off stage and returned after just 30 seconds, which was very funny to me!
fantastic gig. so many highlights. the jam in coalmine pony was pure fun, they grinned while playing it. hogwash i think was the best i heared too, and starhammer as well. the jam in there was simply brilliant. and of course the new song. little bit hard 70s rock, and some 80s metal, somehow… very heavy and surprising opener. i really hope for a recording.
yes, same with rw1.
